Would it really be a Sin to sell to your Rival or Arch Rival? I think even the world we now live in with evolution and generations gone by, this ‘Tradition’ appears to stick by firmly.
We won’t get an Everton player to us, less unlikely, but we certainly wouldn’t sell to Manchester United and Vice Versa.
So that’s out of the question.
There’s reports of Grealish going back to the Toffees and Beto going abroad. I don’t think we’d go in for a 28 year old, but wouldn’t by any means be a bad squad player Striker. As Priority goes, it’s not what we need, but then again, an example of an injury to Isak, and we’d be stuck.

Saw those links a couple of days ago Rob, in my opinion he’s a mid table PL winger at best. He’s 25 I think? And only moved for 6m in 2024. Maybe a late bloomer? 2 footed apparently. Don’t think he’s a tricky winger type, more tradional winger with direct running.
It could be we are just throwing lots of mud around and seeing if anything sticks, or be just paper/agent/fan/click bait talk. It could even be deliberate to hide the real targets but I don’t think we are clever enough for that!

Jaros is nowhere to be seen or heard since his injury in the Summer, so why or why are we, if we are chasing an 18 year old? It’s solely I imagine centred on his height of 6 feet 7!!

Nil the kid is captaining the u19 for Belgium, is 6´7 and is probably the brightest prospect for his position in Europe right now. Marmadashvili has never filled us up with confidence, decent shot stopper but terrible on the ball, he is so one footed. Then I just doubt he is willing to sit on the bench for the whole season. He was probably hoping that Alison would bugger off to Italy this summer so he could claim the spot and now that is not happening.

Bingo, I’m sorry but 30m for an 18 year old with 12 appearances is ridiculous. Fine if we had a settled squad but we don’t. We have 2 problem full backs, two needed on the wing if Gakpo goes and also a missing midfielder. VVD will be done within 12 months so there’s another enforced change as well. It just defies logic.

I completely agree about Marma. He doesn’t always fill me with confidence and I see characteristics of Mignolet about him. Plus I’m not keen on his distribution. It badly makes me appreciate Kelleher (who I have criticised in the past).
Jaros I would love to re-welcome, but the lad is not fit.
Alisson I’ve mentioned is in his sunset season and we need to look after him. We may have to persist with Marma unless something purposeful is unlocked with the supposed club Forest chasing him.

We’ve got pieces and cogs Rob that we’re trying to connect or integrate and allow them to grow in familarity. Once there is a relationship and an understanding formed, our link up play will be Zip.
We were fractured last season and our ‘new style’ of play certainly didn’t help with proceedings.
Lots of work in ploughing away, but the signs and flashes are there which of course is encouraging.

I’d argue the brightest young goalie is Dennis Seimen at Stuggart, at least for a team that wants their goalie to use his feet.
Bingo at least one ITK called Araujo fairly close, he said a CB/RB from Spain. I was hoping Kounde so never mentioned it as he’s already been discussed.
I agree 30m for someone that inexperienced is crazy, and that he won’t join until 2027? So not a Marma replacement if is sold this window.
