Minteh and Sarr are very different profiles.
Minteh is a very hard working, progressive dribbler but poor finishing. Sarr is pretty much the opposite, good finisher but others much less for the team. Minteh is left footed, Sarr is right.
I’d much rather have Minteh as I think we have enough goals elsewhere in the front line.
Would probably prefer Rayan over either.
Heard a runour that it might actually be neither and Gakpo is still sold to City.

There’s a new name floating about but the rumour comes from indykalia or whatever he’s called, Estevao from Chelsea.
I mention ITKs a lot and that there are ones with good reputations and ones that are dismissed as click bait, he falls into the latter category in my opinion.
However he would fit the tricky, 1v1 specialist and great versus a low block which is the profile I believe Iraola is looking for. Almost complete opposite to Sarr who is a straight line runner counter attacker. Would Chelsea sell? He hasn’t had the play time he probably wants and Chelsea will at some point be forced to balance their books so maybe, they would double their 45m outlay. Perhaps it depends if they get 100m+ for Enzo or not.

I think we should be getting a little worried at the lack of any movement. 2 days to go and barcola still hasn’t signed…
Something not quite right behind the scenes for sure. Iraola must be very frustrated.
Last minute transfers are always a massive risk. We always did our business early in the window.
Worst case scenario is Gakpo leaves and we don’t sign anyone to replace him.

There’s something on Sky Sports this morning about the possibility of Ndiaye going to Spurs. I’d take Ndiaye over Minteh or Sarr any day of the week if he really is available. Maybe they wouldn’t want to sell to us, but there’s never been a historical unofficial embargo between us and the Bitters like there is with Man Utd. Will be shocking if (basket case) Spurs could convince him to move there and we couldn’t !

As regards full-backs, I see that Hickey at Brentford isn’t in their current starting XI. He could certainly fill-in at RB for a modest price until Bradley is back and then we’d have him as an option for LB as well. The same could be said of Neco Williams, but he’s firmly cemented into the Forest team and probably wouldn’t be interested in coming back to us.

I’m thinking the same Redwarrior. It’s a Bank Holiday. Okay so I’m hasty, but on the back of online material whether credible or just point blank “get your hopes up”, it’s all gone quiet for us.
I don’t want us to sign if I’m completely honest just names that have been plucked out as gap fillers. Saar is probably the only one I’d really consider.
