I don’t think Arsenal played as badly as everyone is suggesting in terms of the current situation they are in. They had a couple of decent chances and if one had gone in the game changes. It was an enjoyable game.

Why do some teams defending free kicks let a player lay down behind the wall? I don’t believe it holds any useful advantages.

Yes it’s also tough for weaker clubs who face top teams in most of their first half dozen games, as they nearly always lose they automatically become relegation fodder, it then becomes a massive battle get out as they under much more pressure to then beat the clubs on their level.

Teams that have 3 or 4 easier type of games at the start have a great advantage for so many reasons. Somehow it doesn’t feel fair, I don’t know if the computer who creates the fixtures could possibly mix it up a bit according to seedings or any other way so it’s more even.

I also thought Grealish had a very good game even the commentators said so, he was doing nearly all the creating for City while he was on and City did win by 5. Ings is such an underated striker really should be playing for a top 4 club. Don’t underestimate Arsenal today they tend to do well against most top teams most times.

I’m basing my predictions on the squad reforcements so I still believe the 2 Manchester clubs will fight if out with Chelsea who have a tough few games in the beginning to fight it out with Liverpool for 3rd place. I have no idea who the surprise team will be.

Congratulations to Chelsea yet another trophy but they going to have to improve a lot to challenge on all fronts. Think they have a mixture of good and mediocre players for the top level.

I myself am a Blackburn fan firstly though I support Chelsea in the EPL. I’m waiting for us to be back where we belong. Blackburn Rovers was also voted as the best name for any football team some time ago. Guess we have to be grateful for small mercies right now.

Any sort of banning or punishment will have a reciprocal effect on all leagues, clubs etc. So they need to negotiate as there’s no going back now. I under stand greed is involved but that applies to all, the current beneficiaries of current leagues domestic and Europe are worried about their loss of income and even your sports pundits and commentators, greed is a 4 way street.
