Not sure what opportunies lie ahead for Jose. Seems to me at the moment of someone not really in a hurry to get back on the Saddle. I could be wrong.

When I saw footage of him so soon after losing his job with Man Utd he looked so relaxed, detached and sort of unrecognizable in a positive light – some you could share a few glasses with in a chilled environment.

Good luck to the bloke and I hope something suitable is there for him ?

Nine, was at work yesterday speaking about this.

Your last Para is spot on alluding to the dangers of laying all eggs in one basket as they say.

I do love the FA Cup. For Liverpool essentially this term it’s to home in on Silverware. There’s been none since 2012 and we’ve been on the wrong end quite a fair bit be it any Cup Final and The League Title.

In the same breath if it paves a blessing to be knocked out of the CL early doors then I’ll take that and see through the remaining journey of the domestic to finally end our 29 year wait.

An FA Cup with that would be even sweeter

Thoroughly enjoyed that cup tie on the BBC. Just felt it was going to be Newport’s day and their Giantkilling was fully deserved.

If you don’t respect the competition not the opposition then you will pay the price.

Wins in the league recently unexpectedly against Man City Chelsea and Everton doesn’t paper the other question marks and neither the Manager’s own position.

Really liked Newport’s first. Just a lovely cross in and every Striker’s joy to get on the end of it.

Hope they get a decent tie away from home that will help them finally and progress into the next round.?

I’ve grown to like Pep since he’s been in the Prem. He generally comes across as somebody gentle away from the touchline and just somebody placid and keeping himself to himself in a nice way.

So I hope the guy is with us, but the way the industry is nowadays, that’s pretty much unlikely.

Unai Emery has been a good addition too to the Prem.

Yeah true Adlab. In the right way, you have to have a mean/ruthless streak about you.

Totally agree about drive. For your peers or your colleagues to see and feel it, you have to exert it and deliver.

I believe behind the scenes Klopp is like this too. The guy could do with a break and a trophy to his name as he’s been so far real unlucky.

Jeez, just checked on the BBC retrospectively to learn Henderson was actually played the whole 90 mins – lol whaaat?! 🙂

We’re just pedestrian with this guy not really shielding the defence nor offering support to the front 3. Anyway, that’s enough on him – just need to be thoughtful on our selection away from home against strong opposition 🙂

Adlab, no worries mate on my part. It just got me thinking fine margins.

We’ve been blessed in all fairness so far in some ways a luck goes re Pickford and the Mahrez miss, plus the injury time Sturridge equalizer at Stamford Bridge.

Klopp mentioned yesterday in his post match conference he would have paid if offered this position. There has in recent years a developed respect between the 2 club and managers.

The challenge is not to take too much notice of the media. They’re adding Green Chillies lol
