There was at least 2 possible handball claims.

I totally understand the bias, and that’s perfectly fine. If we’re talking about being impartial, then I must say, you cannot discount Handballs that otherwise have been awarded by Referees.

For any ‘reassurance’, for what it is worth, Liverpool will drop points guaranteed.

Chucks, I hadn’t seen any post match highlights.

I’m not at all trying to justify that moment – was just merely extracting the Camera Replay, which of course the Ref naturally doesn’t have in vicinity.

It’s just struck me whilst I’m typing this that a Penalty was not given.

So clearly, I shouldn’t be exchanging any further posts with you or anybody else on this subject, because in all honesty, it just breeds bad feeling and spirit, and I certainly don’t want that and for me to be in that frame of mind that allows me to muddy my whole mood and evening.

I’ve done nothing wrong, and in 1993, I never had this.

I do think we’re riding our luck a bit and hence why I say at the beginning that each fixture is tough or some sort of a Banana Skin if we take our eye off the Ball (apologies for the pun).

Chucky, just 2 mate from my recollection. Both involving Mane in each half – Townsend 1st half, can’t remember the other Palace player.

Admittedly, I would have been bothered more about it if we didn’t get the win today.

I totally get none Liverpool fans in voicing their thoughts on Salah, that’s perfectly fine. I hope Klopp sets the ground rules on that, otherwise the Refs sooner or later will pick him up on it and he’s sort of on a naughty step.

Quite surprised at the scoreline from the Emirates – would have expected Chelsea to be tighter. Can’t take anything away from those 2 goals.

Neck n neck on the live table with United as it stands.

City and Liverpool have similar fixtures except that City face Arsenal at the Emirates and I can definitely see United being up for both City and Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Always felt before their dominance and titles plus additional trophies United were deemed as a Big Club. Though your right, winning trophies in the here and now raises your profile.

The club put themselves in good stead to attract different geographical area of football fans.

Yes, thank goodness now for us, there are no fixtures till the 30th.

It’s Leicester and at Anfield.

Most of our defenders will have recovered by then (touch wood). Gomez should be back with us early Feb, and we hope in the meantime, nobody else is injured.

Wynaldum was missed.

I would have been gutted if we dropped any points today.

We need to save our cushion for Feb when we play Man United at Old Trafford because we’d be lucky to get a draw there.

Hopefully our main defenders get fit and back to playing because we struggled today and our front 3 got us out of Jail.

When Palace levelled at 2-2, Van Dijk was held by Ayew.

Plus, Mane was also held just outside the area.

A fair few handballs too, so VAR might have corrected these as of decisions that went against palace.

And I don’t at all disagree with Salah CHEAPLY going down.
