Anyway back to the game and half-time; feel more in relief we turned that setback around and quickly. I would not have wanted to go into half-time with a goal down. That would have given Burnley the upper-hand.

We can now play our game going into the second half but must ensure we get the 3rd and 4th to kill the game off and get over the finishing line.

Oz, I hear you mate.

Last season was incredible as far as the way we played and our progression in the Champions League. The way Ramos treated Salah and getting away with it truly made me feel low. Not to mention the manner in which we lost and the Karius blunders.

Sometimes, people go on about ‘lucky Liverpool’ but we truly have had our fair share of bad luck, almost as if to say we’re jinxed. I can therefore understand supporters in how they feel due to history – even the slip back in 2014 when all we had to do is not to lose to Chelsea, at Anfield.

This season we’ve been more measured and resolute in the back – almost to the point that it’s had a detrimental effect on our attack.

I am still hopeful of Silverware. The way Man United have transformed, it’ll be different next season, though if we don’t start winning trophies, Klopp will begin to feel the pressure and his time may soon be up.

Found the Cardiff result quite surprising yesterday. Didn’t expect that in the slightest. The same West Ham that raised their game when they played us – typical!

Everton are no different. These teams are inconsistent. It’s no wonder they are where they are.

Still, gives Cardiff a fighting chance to move off the bottom of the table, but they need to start picking up more points quickly.

Football is one of the Sports I love and grew up with. I haven’t played personally for several years as lost contact with those I played and grew up with school, college, Uni etc a long time ago. People grow older, get married, settle down, have children, and that’s it.

We’re trying to set something up at work as part of fund-raising for charity. I would love to play.

As Brian rightly points out, much of this now more than ever is controlled by the Media. ‘Discussion’ being raised is often to the detriment of that team and the amusement of the other (the rival).

Or to cause a stir. I can’t start talking about money, when my own team have shelled out Bucket-loads on a Centre-half and a Goalkeeper. At the moment, I am miffed about Refereeing decisions. Very rare do I point the finger at them as I’m aware they have a hard job. Something tells me, VAR will add to the problems than to support. I hope I’m wrong.

Anyway, hope we win today and reduce the GAP back to 1 point. As long as we can keep it like this going into the closing stages, we stand a chance. Drift any further, and as far as this season goes, it’ll be Game Over.
