Too many players losing a bit of form at the moment.
Harry hasn’t looked quite right since the injury, apart from the Chelsea game Ali hasn’t been at the races since the CL defeat, Erickson hasn’t been bad at all, and I think too much rotation between Son/Lamela/Lucas has resulted in all three of them trying too hard if that makes sense (trying to beat the third man sort of thing).
Defense is okay, Jan the Man is playing out of his skin at the moment, best CB in the league over the last 10/12 games. Midfield always looks light when the Moose doesn’t play…

Swagger is a great word, my Spuds have lost theirs too. Read a stat somewhere that said they had 14 attempts at the Baggies goal (and Baggies had 4, think I may have been watching Leeds vs Millwall or something!)… I remember the decent safe from Vicky, and the lucky save from Harry (don’t care how good he his, he wasn’t planning on using his nose to safe it!) but that’s just about it…
Suppose it’s fun for the neutral!

You monkeys seem to be forgetting how bad the Spuds are playing too, they’re pretty much roasted… still looking relatively tight at the back so no real issues there, but the front 4, whoever Poncho’s picks, are all looking as flat as pancake at the moment.
With all the possession we had against the Baggies, there was only 2 decent chances created (pot-shots from 25+ yards don’t really count in my book!). It wasn’t Fosters busiest day by a large margin. Both Son & Lamela look like they have their towels on the beach right now, bloody well hope Lucas gets a start this week against Castle (who I can only hope have their towels on a beach too!).

Bloody hell… with a bit of luck Lamela is sitting next to Disco in the taxi to the airport, don’t what Lucas needs to do to get a start, Ali needs a clip around the air… Baggies couldn’t write the script any better, 10 mean behind the ball for 92 minutes who then all charge to the penalty box for an injury-time corner (still not too sure who scored that!).

Pool win all the way, along with a punch-up and a few red cards!
Thanks very much!

Not the greatest of performances last night (but better than recent weeks!), but did enough to get the 3 points which is the main things. Harry looking a little sharper than he has over the last few weeks, Son just looks knackered to be honest (time for Lucas to start Saturday I think!). Davies has completely lost his form from earlier this season, Tripper a little better. Jan was he’s usual rock and some smart saves from Hugo, with Lamela not doing himself any favors during his cameo, trying too hard to impress when a simple pass forward was on.
A win Saturday and Pool win on Sunday please!
Anybody else see Jan’s take-down for the Harry disallowed goal? That was quality (although not too sure what he was doing that far up the pitch!). Would like to see him move into midfield for a game or two, reckon he could do a decent job there (and play Sanchez/Toby as CB)… swap between 2/3 at the back when needed (especially if both Moose and Vicky are off in the summer according to the rags!).

Don’t know why, but a feeling in my Finnish Fire water tells me Brenda is going to end up at Newcastle before too long… maybe not this summer, but some time in the future…

To Goose’s credit he did try to remain vaguely sensible for a couple of posts, got to give him a B+ for effort on that one, and let’s be honest here, his last post is hardly offensive (except to my sisters of course… but as I keep telling, if you’re going to walk around in the nip, you’re going to be deposited in our feathery friends wank-bank!).
Anyway, what about your thoughts for the summer? Any ins and outs you’d prefer? (Que a comment from Goose undoubtedly involving my sister!)
