That is best 45 minutes Zouma has had this season. he was beast there and won many duels than he has lost. if he continues like that Lampard will have a good problem. also, our left-back is impressing me each passing day.

Excellent start from Chelsea. Leicester have come back into it but they are offering nothing in the final 3rd. No idea why you sign Perez and play him on the right. Two number tens playing in the wide positions in the front 3???

Great start from Chelsea but needs to get that 2nd while in top

Leicester were excellent in the 2nd half and I think Wednesday caught with Chelsea

We hung on there we seemed to run out of puff particularly in the second half.

Not taking our chances when we were on top cost us and I think Istanbul played a part today too but well done to Leicester they deserved at least a point and they won’t be an easy game for anyone.

On the positive side we’ve got a point more than we got v Leicester at home last season.?

Morning Chaps!
we led the PL for a few hours!!!! wasnt expecting that!
tidy win for us, still isssues but really like what im seeing from my team at the moment, Luiz was very good, Cabellos was a dream and Pepe looked very exciting…..still shitting myself to play pool next though!
Unlucky City lads, silly rule correct VAR decision but even the spuds players and GK was mystified!
as previously said rightly or wrongly VAR will make this the closest season in terms of “real results” ever and have a huge impact onm the PL places for all teams!
Wolves win tonight and that will be a nice weekend for me 😉

Dunno Buffy, Pool are looking a little bit shaky at the back at the moment, and you guys are pretty decent going forwards, pretty sure it won’t be 0-0, just a question of who scores more… I’d be happy with a 6-6 draw and 8 red cards… 🙂

Stevo… Cabellos could be a bargain for you lot. Think Lacazette and Abumenyang will feed off his creativity. Have him in my fantasy side.

James Maddison took the plaudits… But I was very impressed by Mr Hamza Choudhury. More performances like that and I can see Gareth Southgate selecting him for the three lions. Top, top players find an extra half yard of space and every time he collected the ball there were no chelsea players around him… in his half or Chelsea’s. He also significantly disrupted Kante’s areas, game plan and won a number of 50-50’s. Did the dirty work in providing a platform for the team to operate. He’s done really well since breaking into the side. Really solid performance until he came off when they changed shape and went for the win… Leicester will challenge for a euro spot on yesterdays evidence.

As for Chelsea. Work in Progress. Not really sure what Barkley has to do, nor Batshuyai to get a game. Abraham is not there yet, batshuyai doesnt run down dead ends like Abraham, He just cant hold the ball up. Him and Abrahams together would score us goals. Would love to see Frank try it with a 442 diamond… thats right.. 4, 4, Fooking 2…

442, I think Barkley’s problem now is how well Mount is developing in the central role it’s difficult to accommodate the two in the same team.

I would give Bats a bit of a run too he’s got an eye for scoring a goal and we desperately need a striker who can do that. When Rudiger, Loftus Cheek and Hudson Odoi are back and with a goal scoring striker we could make a late run for 6th place.?
