Have to laugh, Waspy, Conte sets up “tighter than a ducks butt!” at the back, and it’s all negative and boring football (made even worse when it fails! 🙂 ) yet Villa show up and do exactly the same thing… and it’s a “master class” from Emmery… LOL!!!
Well it kind of is a masterclass if Emery has gone away to one of the bigger sides in the division, limited them to 6 shots with only 2 on target. They also won 2-0 so the end justified the means. You can hardly expect the same to be said of Conte for containing a poor Villa side at home in the first half. Conte got loads of credit, for instance, for going to City early last year and winning 3-2 at the Etihad.

Just a bit of an oxymoron I think, double standards and all that… and, for the record, nothing wrong with what Villa did!! They set up their stall, got a major slice of luck with their opening goal, and from then on in, us Cock’s were always owide open for the counter…
And the end of the day, we got what we deserved (as f****g annoying as it is!)

Don’t normally believe the cyber fish wrappings but a few places seem to suggest we’ve wrapped up this Pedro Porro fella from Sporting Lisbon… don’t remember him standing out against us in either of the CL games (but then we were so bad I was too busy cursing my Cock’s!)… but he really can’t be any worse than Emerson or Donkey… hopefully wrapped up before the end of the week apparently…

Brutally honest opinion, for what it’s worth, finish 5th or below, then Conte and Harry are off, finish Top 4 and Conte doesn’t get 2 “top draw signings in the summer, then they’re both off…
But…
Get a half decent RWB (either one of Porro/Dumfries) this window and maybe, just maybe a left sided center back to upgrade Davies (love the fella, gives 110%, but does have his limits!), and finish Top 4 I think they’ll both stay…
Genuinely think we’re not ‘that’ far away from a very decent squad if I’m honest… Royal/Donkey & Davies/Lenglet are the “weak” spots for sure…. (although Hugo is an honory member of that gang at the moment!)
