Oz, to be fair I haven’t seen any City fans on here complaining about the number of games they have to play they’re just saying that fighting on four fronts actually three now could be their undoing despite the quality of the squad and imo they’re right.
Obviously you and the other Liverpool fans won’t want to go out of the CL and I hope you don’t but if you did being able to just focus on the PL title might be the difference. Anyway best of luck for tonight be great to see 4 PL teams in the last 8 of the CL.

Yeah nine complaining probably not the right word but I’m sure you get what I mean.
Chucky they State of Origin isn’t anything like it used to be, they’ve taken the biffo & shoulder charge out of the game, it’s nowhere near as brutal as it used to be. The game is way too structured these days & has lost a lot of fans as a result. Still very good athletes but bloody robots with no ad lib plays any more, all sticking to structures._____________________________

Oz,, if you want to win trophy’s you have to win matches. I think most City fans know they have a good squad to cope with the fixtures, however, it does not say they will win them. I am hopeing we can win the league again, I think we are still a step away from CL unless we have all our No 1 players on the pitch and they all play well. The FA Cup is a possibility, but one off games like this are very unpredictable…I like that in Cup games, everybody has a chance

I’m just not confident that Liverpool can do it. They’ve really buckled under pressure. You can see it in their passing. I’m not saying it’s over but they’ve got to toughen up fast. I’m definitely not looking to go out of the CL just so we can focus on the PL. I think the added important matches (from a different competition) could actually help the lads take their minds off the PL. it’s a different kind of pressure in the CL. There will be no easy games left in the tournament for anyone and one bad performance can all but put you out, so the expectation is different. tghere’s nobody on your back in the CL. It’s quite prestigious also.
We want to be a top team again, so we have to offer our players and prospective players the chance to win on multiple fronts. Now, there’s no shame in going out against Bayern but I’ll be gutted if it happens. Just like I’ll be gutted if/when City break away from us in the PL.
I mean, we shouldn’t complain too much, we’re in a position I’ve wanted us to be in for ages. We’re the only team in the league who can stop the PL points record holders. We’re also the only team from last seasons final who are still in the CL*
*Maybe we won’t be after tonight!

Nil go off on a mad one? I assume posts were deleted cause I saw little. He has been heading back to his old tricks recently anyway. Maybe just a temp ban until after the match tonight, or a weke or whatever?
Anyway, Brian, believe me when I say that the remaining teams in the Cl will be shitting themselves that they might draw you. They got off lightly last season because we countered your style and managed to knock you out before you had a go at the others. I wouldn’t call Liverpool favourites but I’m not gonna rule us out of it until we’ve been knocked out.. but if Liverpool go out, then I see City as favourites for the CL. That’s just me and I know others will disagree but your scoreline last night will have raised eyebrows.
The excitement over tonight is starting to set in now tho.. not long now! cheers for the good wishes boys, Pl teams doing well in Europe is good for our coefficient also remember.

BB that you do mate & I agree the C/L is the most unpredictable with the 2 legs adding another element. As I keep saying though depth is king over numerous competitions & you lot have way more than anyone else.
