I was out so I didnt see the City match but by the looks of the result, we’re looking at the champions doing what they do.
I don’t think it’s dramatic to suggest that some Liverpool players will be playing for their careers, tomorrow and the matches after. We dropped the ball 4 time sin the last 6 games… Winners don’t do that and I think Klopp will axe the people he thinks are too mentally weak to do this one step better, next season.
So, Liverpool have got absolutely no choice other than to win, or the title is over. I will call it right after the match if they don’t do it. This is what drawing so many games recently does, it leaves you without options. It leaves you in last chance saloon. Early? No, with the champions reasserting themselves, it’s actually incredibly late.

NB….playing mind games with the “if only” scenarios will not influence what happens. The team with most points wins the league and deserves to, no matter who it is. As you are a loyal Liverpool fan you should only be concerned in how your team performs over the rest of the games, it matters little to what City do, if they win or loose, the same could apply to Liverpool so we all have to wait and see what develops. I missed to days game through not being too well again but wished I had been there. Listening on GMR is good but not the same as sitting in my seat. May the best team win at the end of the day and I will applaud them for a job well done in the toughest league in the world, not long to go

It worries me deep down that Liverpool’s 29+ wait in the League Championship will continue.

Lol, told you so; these teams are ‘Anti Liverpool’ and only raise their performances towards Liverpool. Tottehnham and Chelsea will be our next ‘victims’ no doubt.

City aren’t currently firing on all cylinders and Watford set up to frustrate them with 9/10 men strung across the penalty area but that was only going to work until City scored.
The opening goal will cause debate, I think by playing the ball the Referee deemed that the Watford player played Sterling on but you could probably argue it either way.
City still have an awful lot on their plate and they will need to get their key injured players back sooner rather than later.
All the what ifs in the world aren’t going to change how the title race finishes whoever finally wins the title will have fully deserved it over the 38 games played.
It’s still too close to call imo but there’s a little bit more pressure on Liverpool now ahead of their game v Burnley tomorrow but I would be amazed if Liverpool don’t claim all three points.
This title race is going to be nip and tuck right until the end of the season imo and it might well go down to goal difference.
