The Kieta rumour is that he’s looking for a house on Merseyside.
Normally I’d dismiss this as bullshit but the sources that are pushing this as something significant are normally quite reliable so I’ve sat up and took notice.Doesn’t mean it will happen or even that it’s true but there seems to be something strange happening.

Ginger…it would be great if it was true. Don’t know about you but I always have doubts when I hear players are house hunting before they’ve signed. If it were me, I would join the club, speak to my new team mates, find out from them where the best places are for highly paid prima donnas and then go house hunting!
Having said that, I hope those sources are right! If he does join this month it surely must mean Couts is off

Apparantly it’s been confirmed by an estate agent who deals with LFC/EFC footballers.

Hightown my thoughts exactly mate regarding getting VVD & Keita but Couts going. I get Couts is currently our best player but i do believe he will go after this season regardless so if we can get 2 with such high quality NOW I’d jump at it while we can.
Ive got a feeling a few of the youngsters will play a fair role for us this season & im looking very forward to seeing them_____________________________

Ginger I really hope you’re right mate, if you are, it will show us that FSG really mean business and aren’t just in it for the quick buck (I don’t believe they are but maybe I’ve got rose tinted glasses). I do like Klopp’s stance on this “he’s not for sale”, given our new signings and the possible further additions if we keep Coutinho we’ll have a team of great potential and a manager who can realise that potential. Yep Ginger, I agree. Might be different if Couts was showing real signs of wanting a move but I think we will get another season out of him. Who knows, we might get VVD & Keita & push for the title & Couts might want to become a LFC legend & help us get back up where we want to be. A lot can happen but I think we are on the up & we have a lot to look forward to, namely watching some good football most of the time.

Brilliant from Liverpool. Imagine Barca a few years ago losing (arguably) their most valuable player and not being able to bring their top targets in. I think we’ve seen a real power shift over the last year or so. The squads at Barca and Real are still some way above most of the rest of Europe but you get the feeling that once Messi, Suarez and Ronaldo start showing their age, the Spanish league could easily slip down the ladder.
