Whether it was a red of yellow or not it was a bad tackle and as Pagan rightly says it gives the officials a decision to make and it changed the game in Wigan’s favour and Wigan needed things to go in their favour to have a chance of winning the game.

Honestly. I dont mind losing. Heaven knows Ive seen enough over the past58 years. But I hate being cheated. If Taylor was consistent there were at least 2 similar tackles by Wigan which he gave a yellow.
The whole trouble is the refereeing is not good enough. They want to be the stars of the show. Reason.? Because they are basically irrelevances amongst millionaires and cant cope.
Still there is a way to beat us.

We had enough chances to have won that game – could (and should) have had two penalties. Pep didn’t learn from Spurs against Rochdale. put yor strongest players on at the beginning of the game. Now let’s make sure we win the League Cup against Arsenal.

First of all I thought we played poorly tonight. We never get the benefit of any decisions off Taylor, his family are all United fans but he strangely supports Altrincham. He pulled out a yellow wrote Delphs name down then changed his mind ? lol. That said I think we had plenty of chances to score but just couldn’t find that last ball or shot, thought we could have played another 30mins and not scored. And then the inevitable mistake. Oh well still a visit to Wembley this weekend.? Just hope Danilo and Bravo arnt starting. ? Still pretty gutted at that performance and result. Wigan took their chance so fair plays to them. I was one of thousands of City fans who stayed and clapped them on their win 5 years ago, they are turning into a bit of a bogey side for us. ?

Bugger, started watching it and thought it was all one-way traffic so I went to bed, rather than watch #2 on Banjo’s List of Teams He Loves To Watch Lose, I thought I’d save my energy and watch #3 tonight…. 🙂
Which also means, due to Murphy’s Law, #3 are likely to put in a performance tonight just to annoy me.

Dissapointing but lets move on, well done Wigan you repeated your performance against us last time but you went downhill fast after that….try and avoid that again. For City, Bad Walker mistake, he always has one in him, dozing off but Stones should have covered it and Bravo got his angles wrong Sane did not contribute anything, we need Sterling energy for Sunday. I would keep Bernando in team though. WE are out now on FA Cup this also gives us a few games less. Not too concerned about Caroboo Cup either, Lets get the PL sewn up and give CL a good go. Good luck to Wigan next round
