I think Pep will play a fairly strong team tomorrow. We’ve not played for six days and it’s another six before the cup final. Added to that, Jesus and Mendy apart, he has a full squad to choose from.

My team would be:

Bravo: Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Zinchenko: Silva (D), De Bruyne, Gundogan: Sterling, Aguero, Silva (B).

Try to get the tie sewn up by the hour and then make changes accordingly.

After the cup final next sunday.We’ve got Arsenal away the following

thursday.Then Chelsea at home the following sunday.All the big hitters will probably start all three of those games?

Haha the Altrincham fan does it again. Weve been on the end of nine challenges the past three months all significantly worse than that and all awarded a yellow or not even a foul. The fact that Taylor wants us to lose aside weve been very sloppy all over the pitch.

Terrible tackle and what a pathetic reaction by the patron saint of football in the tunnel afterwards.

Could only be more embarrassing if the man had spent two weeks whinging that his players had been on the receiving end of similar tackles and he wanted the referees to clamp down on that kind of tackle.

Maybe Wigan should remove a player from their bench out of protest. ?

Adlab, maybe a yellow, come on take off your sky blue glasses, the foot was high, studs were up, he was fully committed, couldn’t pull out, so was out of control, gave the ref and lino a decision to make, and as Pep has been lobbying for red cards for those kinds of tackles the ref duly obliged…..
