Always fancied Juve, even after the 2-0 deficit from the first leg. Theyβre too polished a side with some very good players to not have a great chance this season. They have togetherness and they have Ronaldo. They were 18/1 to win the CL before the game tonight. Theyβre now 4/1. Still my tip for the CL.

Poor Atletico. Ronaldo is just a one-man CL machine. You look at what’s happened to Real since he left and realise just how important he was to their success.

Congrats to the City fans on here. Result was in no doubt though. Schalke are a poor side fighting for survival in the Bundesliga. Bigger tests lie ahead but you wouldn’t write them out of the running for the title.

Schalke were poor once we had scored. VAR used four times. We scored 7 and without return without Otemendi,Kompany,Mendy, Stones,(just about most of the defence) KDB, Mahrez(unused sub) so I suspect Pep is pleased!
Hope Liverpool can make it 4 out of 4 tonight. It looks certain that English teams will play each other in the next round.
