Yeah we’ve probably got the fastest forward line in the league and attack at pace on the break so I’m not at all surprised we’ve had a lot of pens. Crazy number though.
As for AWB, excellent defender but poor going forward. Pretty much sums him up. He’s been getting marginally better going forward but still a lot of work to do. Lots of full backs are the opposite. Great going forward but suspect defensively. I think it’s easier to improve going forward than defending so I think there’s still hope for him to cement that position for many years if he keeps improving.

As for Pogba, that’s him all over. Strolls around looking disinterested. He can always produce a moment of magic though. Whether it’s a ping over the top or a drive into the box. He’s got a moment like that in him that can win you games. Those moments are not at all often enough for me, but he’s still capable of them.

Think that’s where Solksjaer is limited Ed. He’s good at coaching & developing youngsters perhaps, and going on runs, but in big moments, he’s not quite got the presence to command and transfix a dressing room.

Ah Seville looked shattered Ed. They really did and you just could not see past utd
Utd were excellent in the 1st 15 min of 2nd half. It should have been game over. You just could not see Seville scoring.
Really bad defending and utds luck really was out tonight. They deserved to be in the final
This season was all about getting back in the cl and they did that. So they achieved their number one priority

Small steps Ed. There’s been a massive improvement in United’s performances (certainly in going forward and the creativity side of their game) since the start of the year. Rome wasn’t built in a day, ask Sir Alex.
