Well, Think Pep will be more ruthless next year and I hope we get to Semi’s and a bonus if we get to Final. I still prefer Domestic trophies which will be there when EC has gone, The FA Cup to me is still the one that gives me enjoyment from Round 1, part of British heritage. I know it is somewhat de valued now, but for me..it is special

    Whats koeman done tho ?
    An ok job at Southampton
A very average job at Everton
    Noting with the national team?
An old fan favourite yes, but no track record in management to write home about and the kind of job at Barca that Harry Potter could’nt fix ?
Now watch as he makes amazing changes and wins the treble ??

Seems you were bang on the money yet again 999

    Copied the below from elsewhere

Victor Font has already stated that Koeman will be sacked if he gets elected, so the circus starts…

Stevo, I guess there is a positive in Club members voting for a Club President every 6 years and not being owned by often faceless owners many of whom only care about what they can make from owning the Club that can never happen at Barca.

The new elections are in March and Font had previously stated prior to the Bayern result that the end of Messi has to be managed and that he wants to bring Xavi back to the Club.

But stating he will sack Koeman if he is elected which currently seems likely just adds to Barca’s current problems as does Bartomeu stating the only players who are safe from the cull are circa 8 as it’s not going to be easy particularly in the current circumstances to move so many players on.

Be interesting to see how all this plays out over the next 12 months or so.

Lyon could have been a couple up before Bayern scored last night but I suspect Bayern would still have had enough to beat them.

Be interesting to see whether Bayern play such a high line v PSG this CL Final could be a corker given the offensive strengths of both teams.

It certainly won’t be boring that’s for sure.

To be fair Ed that’s crazy he went to Wolfsburg for a year then Bayern and was loaned straight out for a year so it still took a good while

Plenty of examples like lukaku, KDB, and the Egyptian wizard all ar Chelsea….

Lucky for you united buy crap so this stuff doesn’t happen often ?

“Lionel Messi is unconvinced by the club’s decision to hire Ronald Koeman as their new manager, reports say. The Dutchman was recently named as Quique Setien’s replacement at the Nou Camp. But it appears Messi isn’t happy with the appointment and, with Manchester City eyeing his signature, could be tempted to leave.” Express 21/08

If the above report is true it adds to Barca’s problems and a move to City if it were to happen could change the equilibrium of the PL title race next season.

We might finally see if Lionel can cut it on a cold wet windy night in Stoke Burnley.

I would love to see the great man in the PL for a couple of seasons but I doubt it will happen.

I still do not think Messi will come to Manchester City and for the kind of money likely to be on offer we could get two class players and not have to change formation too much. They say Messi will not defend…I have seen him defending but his worth is in the last third of the pitch and I expect others to defend

He is the right age so I’m sure my lot will snap him up ?

Now that’s one oldy I wouldn’t complain about!!

Would shit all over “bale force” ??

Tho we would have to sell the entire team to afford him and I’m not sure he is good enough to win on his own ??

Tuned into the final a bit late!
2 girls already and looks spicy as anything
Conte just got a yellow and seems a lot of diving
    What’s it been like lads?
