Pagan, brilliant quote anyway buddie.

It’s Jack’s anniversary in a few days it doesn’t seem like 6 years since he left us. That quote sums Jack up perfectly I was planning to put up a dedication to him up on the Chelsea site and that quote will be perfect. Cheers 999

Yeah, I can’t believe myself where all the time’s gone. Would be about right. The other Site changed it’s format around 2010. I found Chelsea Supporters Club Page to be one of the best; Posters in Slapmyface, Trueblue83, Chelsea1967, etc, and Jack was one of them I shared posts with. Could have been after Chelsea winning the Title in 2010 and the Champs League – can’t pinpoint, but yeah, 6 years gone just like that.

9-Was in Melbourne for a seminar about that time when things got very quiet from Jacks side,was very worried even though that from our emails with Jack got the feeling that things were getting better, he kept saying that things were in fact not getting worse.Then I read on Chelsea side the news-was devastated!

Mav, Jack told me in the January that he had seen the Consultant with his Daughter and things weren’t looking good but she was sworn to secrecy to keep it away from Trish and the rest of the family especially Jack’s Grandsons Rocky and Bam who were the apple of his eye.

Still upsets me to recall it all tbh he was such a lovely man who handled it all with such great dignity,courage and humour.

Anyway Jack would be telling me off for getting melancholy so to change the subject where are you on your vacations hopefully enjoying a well earned rest on a lovely beach somewhere maybe even in Catalonia?

We’ve been to the Mall today on a pre holiday shopping trip and we’re both exhausted now.?

9-Used to exchange emails with him on daily basis,and he even started posting on Uniteds page after.Quite a few United fans got to like Jack based on his posts.Hope you are still keeping in touch with Trish & the rest of his family.

Mav, like you Jack and I exchanged e mails almost daily some were one liners or jokes others were tomes.

Unfortunately I lost touch with Trish although I exchanged e mails with her following Jack’s passing I think she wanted to move on and she closed down Jack’s e mail account and I can somewhat understand that.

Shame because I would have gladly hosted Rocky and Bam had they wanted to spend some time in England and I know Jack would have liked that but I got where Trish was coming from.
