15 minutes in and about 4 “half” chances already while keeping the Budgies at arms length, best 15 minutes for about 8 games I think… (small steps and all that! 🙂 )

There’s 8 teams above the drop zone that could find their way into the bottom 3. What I don’t recall is action taken when positioned ‘somewhere in between’.
It’s making a change either too soon that’s perceived as hasty or if the damage effectively has already been done.
Arteta has been allowed time as he has had a run of unsuccessful results; my personal theory has been for a Coach to essentially learn his trade either in Europe or a Division below The Premier League.

Rooney would be another crazy appointment for Everton, Nine. No doubt he’ll get that initial lift, though, being the ex-player he is and it’s obvious the fans will be right behind him. Duncan Ferguson had a similar effect. In fairness, if it’s about avoiding relegation, that might not be the worst thing in the world.

Dyche would probably save them too but he falls into the same category as Rooney.
Without there’s a complete change of strategy and some meaningful investment Everton are a lost cause imo.
