Rob about Scott I’m worried that he would be too similar to Elliott, I’m actually quite convinced Elliott will have his best season for us. Both of them play the same positions.
Scott might be better deep midfield though and has 8 cm on Elliott but they are both tiny.

Bingo, I was instantly casting my mind on the Chelsea game at home when we dropped points. I liked Grav. He scored and he was more advanced. But we dropped points that afternoon (never mind, that’s football).
Unfortunately we’ve lost in a relatively short period of time an important good chunk in Hendo, Fabinho and Milner.
Realistically it’s fair to say, along side a Number 6 there should be another Teammate to work with him from a Defensive point of view.

Scott would play the progressive one of the pivot as that is his game and both Grav and Szlob are better or at least good enough to warrant not spending 80m or whatever on him. He is not what we need.

No ginger you have not seen a single game with him in his new position, we are not gonna play like Bournemouth this season, we got better players and more options. Every system Iraola has used has so far been out of necessity as he has had to sell every season.
We can talk about this again after 2 am when his first friendly game is over

Ginger all you are doing is assuming, every assumption make as ass out of you and me. It’s implied by the word itself. Unlike you I have not assumed how the team formation is gonna be and I bet every assumption you have about how we are gonna play this season is wrong.
You have no clue about our midfield, you have no clue about how our forwards will operate and all you do is assume.

4231 is Iraola’s system. He deployed it at Rayo Vallecano and at Bournemouth. He’ll do the same at Liverpool.
He is all about ‘the system’ and expects his players to execute their duties zonally hence my belief he won’t add a dedicated six (if he does any mid).
