So it looks like the “ITKs” are moving away from the Diomande signing for us idea due to the way Roc nation or whatever they are called have handled the situation. PSG are unlikley to sign him so it seem RBL get their wish to keep him for at least one more season.
Rayan talk is increasing however, one of the very few “obtainable” RWs out there. Will still cost a lot and if we buy him no doubt questions will be asked as to why we didnt buy him for 28m when Bournmouth did despite being fairly obvious.

I asked a question a few weeks ago regarding signing players that go against your own morals, at the time it was about a Conservative Christian with bigoted views. This guy was arrested for gang rape but settled out of court.
When you settle out of court to me it means you don’t believe you have a strong enough case to clear your name.

We have had a strict policy of no assholes in the squad, I actually believe we dodged a few bullets over the years. Like last summer the only leftback I wanted was Theo Hernandez, I was actually quite perplexed why he was going to the Saudi league but soon found out. Nobody could explain the Fekir deal which was basically done at the time, I think he just did something to irritate Klopp and Klopp called the deal off.

It’s 50/50 with me on Macca, Bingo. Excellent world cup for him but would we be tempted to cash in on him whilst his stock’s high? I, personally, would keep him. Top player.
I have absolutely zero doubt in my mind that Mourinho is thinking about him and the world cup, of course, contains many Real Madrid ‘influencers.’ If we see him in a twatty white suit (a la Trent) on his jols in the South of France then we know he’s gone!

If Mourinho comes calling right now when his price up there I think he is gone, I don´t really think he was enjoying his football last season, maybe a talk with Iraola would convince him to stay.
BTW what would you think of Spence as a fullback for us? It kind of makes sense if he is moving clubs IMO.

He could up his game with us, Frimpong or him at the rightback to start with? Very different players but I have no idea why we were playing Frimpong as our forward last season. That was half his games almost, it did not make much sense as there was not much happening.
It would be one of the most sensible transfer we could make right now, covering both flanks, probably only wanting around 2000-3000 total minutes. I´ve just only seen him play a few games for England, I can´t be bothered with watching other teams for long time now so I got no clue about his playstyle except stats and I don´t wanna comment on just stats.

Spence is one of the players i mentioned to take from Tottenham after their abysmal season. Thats because i dont rate kerkez and thought tsimikas was finished. If they both stay, no point signing djed.
But lets be honest Tottenham are going all out and backing de zerbi to the full… who would jump ship with all that promise? Theyve already got a phenomenal squad if their top players stay.. once everyones fit they will be the dark horses this season!

In regards to macca, me and threeps argued his merits and weaknesses last august… its a debate i can say i lost due to maccas poor season. If we get a £70mill+ offer we should sell(fuck reminds me of wanting xabi out after 07-08 season)…
Hes a brilliant football player, never injured, good passer, strong shot, intelligent with good positional sense and is tenacious but seems to always be on the deck or chasing players down this season. Sell macca and get someone like bouadi, adam wharton, stiller, kone, fuck it even reinjders…
As ginger mentioned we are heavy short on players… a rightback, konate replacement, 2 midfielders(to replace curtis and macca if they leave) and a right winger and ekitike replacement + Sort out the futures of Elliot, Cheisa, Tsimikas, Bajcetic!
Season starts in a month.. we dont wanna be in situation with acquiring players late, thus missing preseason and being lost for the rest of the season ala isak!
