The way PSG players effortlessly switch positions all over the pitch without hindering the flow of the game is just beautiful and the way Bayern players effortlessly play neat triangles is really good too. Arsenal have really had it easy so far and their set piece goals seems to have also dried up; Sporting are still in it until the final whistle.

The truth is that Arsenal, due to the luck of the draw and the way the Barcelona vs Athletico Madrid match went, will very likely make the CL final. And in a final, anything can happen. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if they went all the way after applying a fully-defensive and counterattacking game against Bayern or PSG in the final.

Joao Gomes was comfortably the best midfielder on show when Wolves had that good run of results against Arsenal, Villa and Liverpool a few weeks ago, so it’s a bit harsh to make too much out of a game when Wolves have just got spanked 4-0!😂😂
Like I said, he reminds me a little of Remi Moses who always did a good job for the team when needed, and for a reasonable fee (40 mill) he would definitely be a good addition to the squad, which as we all know will need much more quality and depth for next season with all the extra cup games that we will hopefully have to play.

The lad Jimenez at right back as well is a big talent, light years ahead of both Mazraoui and Dalot. We’ve talked about him before but at only 20 years old he’d be a great signing this summer.
