Had admittedly half an eye on the German Masters Snooker this Evening. Ronnie out sadly against his foe Ali Carter, not too take anything away from the display and scoreline Tonight. Happy from the goals I saw hit the net.
Makes a change from all the doom and gloom floating around. Morale Booster for sure for this Sat.

28th January 2026 at 11:35 pm #238015Atm, only Robbo, Kerkez and VVD available at the back. Ramsay not trusted so he’s out. I bet Szobo starts RB v Newcastle.

29th January 2026 at 12:21 am #238016I wish he would pick his battles a little bit better, why go on about PSG, of course if he wins the champions league this season his name would go down in history but I just donΒ΄t see it.

29th January 2026 at 2:39 pm #238041Go on about Atalanta, why… he is putting the club down to enhance his own reputation.

29th January 2026 at 3:29 pm #238044About the game though, Gravy and Van Dijk seemed to have a understanding. It kinda reminded me of seeing Matip and Van Dijk together again. Robbo was great as well and no surprise after coming so close to leaving. Endo also performed that right back role well, no mistakes and always made himself available. Van Dijk with a record in the champions league as the first ever central defender to register 3 assists.
Not a bad day out, the whole front three had a decent day out, for once Gakpo threatened his left foot and it made our play wider. It gave us more width even if he did not pull of a move.
There is a big difference between us in the league and Europe this season. It’s a worry but I reckon it has something to do with Robbo featuring more often than not. He might not venture forward every 6 seconds anymore but he does not makes mistakes.
He had a off season last and kinda came into form again last last season. I just wanna see more of him, I dont care if its left back right back or the center mid.
He is experienced enough to deal with anything thrown at him and our vice captain. We need more of him not less…

29th January 2026 at 4:17 pm #238047No he is making all the wrong comments now, he is feeling the pressure right now and there is a big difference between how we play in Europe and the league. For starters we have our vice captain starting every match in Europe. I feel like I’m waiting for a Rafa rant this season where he just totally breaks down to the pressure.

29th January 2026 at 4:46 pm #238049What I’m hearing is Slot and his people know he’s walking on thr thinnest of ice and nothing really will save them. It will happen before the end of the season It would be Hughes that sacks him but he is also on the brink.
However, it’d suggested that all these ITK stories are deliberately sent out to flush out the clubs leaks.
So gawd knows what is actually happening.

29th January 2026 at 5:00 pm #238050I’ve not been on Twitter for nearly a month now. Now avoiding YouTube. One of them yesterday faffed around with his equipment and he just wanted by the impression I got, subscribers.
He’s local to the city, but still, I’m not overly swayed into what’s been reported. A lot of it will be whispers with ‘extra ingredients added.
Personally, I think behind the doors a settlement has been reached and Slot knows where he stands, so he’s had the time to digest it all, he’s a little more chilled (by the body language displayed).
Shame though, because a lot of what’s gone on is not solely on him and others should hold their hands up and take responsibility.

29th January 2026 at 5:28 pm #238052I wouldn’t be surprised too if an ’embargo’ is placed signing anybody. If there is a genuine intention in relieving certain positions of the hierarchy, this will take shape before any new player transactions.

31st January 2026 at 6:56 am #238102Nk one could ever fault Endo’s work rate, professionalism etc, but he’s not mobile enough to play RB against a speedy wide player like Gordon.
Think he should have started many more games this season as a sitting DM however, especially those direct teams that exploited the huge gap between how defence and midfield, or at least came on to plug it.

31st January 2026 at 10:47 am #238112I just worry at times for Endo in terms of his weight and strength to manage ample game time. I like him and he’s such a good pro. We’ve thrown him often in the deep end and Zobo might be the better guy to play RB this evening.

25th February 2026 at 10:28 am #240118So we have a 50% chance of meeting Atletico in the next round of the CL now.
Galatasaray go to Juve tonight leading 5-2 and the other opposition will come from one of them.
I believe our first game in the next round is away.
Once upon a time when away goals counted you wanted to go away first but that’s not the case anymore.
The draw will be made on Friday with first round games being March 10/11 and the following round March 17/18.
Can we go a round further than we did last year?
