Like right now, Tuchel is actually doing a very good man management job with Rio, he gave him his debut and he impressed. He knows what to expect next time the World Cup will happen and be determined to make it, there is no reason to involve him with the final squad right now. He did not do anything with the England setup to deserve the chance, he is just too young and needs to wait and that is a valuable lesson. Everyone there is on merit because the contributed to the campaign to get there. I feel like this is the least primadonna squad you have had for a while, nobody is gonna take anything for granted I reckon.

Or maybe Newcastle away as they love us so much at the moment.

19th June 2026 at 10:57 am #248802I am genuinely happy having had a look at it all right the way from August to May.
There is no back to back London games or any back to back tiresome travel as such; saw Hull away then Villa away, but that should be ok.
Nice to have Forest as our first home game. I would not have been the slightest bit interested in all honesty is Arnie was still in charge. That in itself is a Trophy already won. Bournemouth at Home is our final game; how poetic is that?
I’m sure many a time, we’ll be Live on one platform or another so suddenly in a space of a few weeks, the Garden does look a lot Rosier π

19th June 2026 at 11:29 am #248805What I noticed with the fixtures is there are 3 hard games on the trot on a couple of occasions against the top teams, no respite but you have to play all so it is what it is

Well I am going to claim one narcissistic point for calling it.
Would be great if we have a fully fit and raring to go Isak who should probably just forget last season happened. Actually the WC is a blessing for him and others to get last season’s performances out of their system.

19th June 2026 at 12:25 pm #248811Tee, must have missed that when I was flicking through. Looking forward to Leoni, inclusion of players that have not featured and a few new signings.
The fixtures appear to be more kinder to us this time round.β½οΈππ»

19th June 2026 at 7:40 pm #248848Bingo, I want a regular on field player to be vice (with all due respect to Joe).
Virgil
Szobo (would’ve been Ali but he pissed me off with his deliberate missed game comments). Fucking irked me that._____________________________

19th June 2026 at 8:46 pm #248851There is no one else at the club that deserves it more, we can’t have a newbie like Szobo in that position. Gomez was the one player at the club that I found that understood our season.

19th June 2026 at 8:48 pm #248853But Gomez understands the culture more than Alison, we need that one guy that puts the club above himself and those are the only two candidates IMHO

20th June 2026 at 5:23 am #248859Hmm, not sure re Gomez. Granted his service with Pool has been long and going down for sure as one of the most decent professionals. It’s purely a matter however in the lack of his appearances sadly.
For a Captain, you’d be thinking of somebody at least ever present.

22nd July 2026 at 8:11 pm #251083I donΒ΄t think it will go through, they are asking for 30% for a 1.35 billion thatΒ΄s half a billion less than what FSG want for the stake. ItΒ΄s not happening and honestly I donΒ΄t think I would like it, there is not a single dollar that would go into the club. Only potential commercial revenue to be made from the new owners. Like us having Amazon stuck on our jerseys.

23rd July 2026 at 9:12 am #251103I just feel at that point if Amazon do claim a stake, we’d have sold our soul. Some may argue that’s already the case.
