Maybe someone should send them a checklist for each position before they sign a player. At the bottom it should state in bold and capitals if you can’t tick all boxes don’t fucking sign him.

Not been on here for a while but that farce I saw today has prompted me. When you think they can’t get any worse, so they prove you wrong. I don’t care for excuses with that performance. They were dreadful. I may think differently about some players – I do think there are genuinely some really talented players in the squad, and some that have good moments, but not enough of them. And maybe the new players need time to bed in, but there’s no excuse for lack of effort, chasing, sticking 100% in to every tackle, and that was lacking today. Take Tielemans near the end – a 50/50 – even if you don’t come out with the ball, you make sure the opponent knows you were there. The Hull player (sorry, can’t recall who) probably didn’t realize Tielemans had put in a tackle. And did he chase after it – like hell. Bottled it completely. Not good enough.
We have a problem with Cunha and Mbeuomo. They were bought as No10s for Amorin’s system, but we only use one in Bruno. Mbeumo is not a winger. I think he does a decent job as a central striker when we play on the counter as he’s strong and can hold the ball up, but lacks real pace from a standing start and any real dribbling skills – he’s not a winger. Cunha is another no10. He drifts and looks to get involved. If I had to keep one of them it would be him. He links well and I think does try to make things happen. But neither was great today and Bruno was frigging awful.

There no getting away from it, the result is bad. Heard bits of the game on the radio and it was obvious that we didn’t match their endeavours. Which is totally unacceptable! You can lose to a worldly or a cock up by the keeper but not really laying a glove attacking wise is again unacceptable. Hopefully it was a one of performance in terms of effort. I do wonder if Carrick has the balls to give everyone one of them a fucking rollicking!

Actually the most disturbing thing is that you know it’s Hull’s cup final they’re going to be absolutely up for it. Didn’t they talk about this in the pre-match and the week building up to the game. Especially it being the first game of the season. Mentally weak
