Chuck all the keepers today think they Beckenbaurs that’s why they make so many mistakes. By the way I don’t think Bowen not being in that position would have made any difference. That’s another very loose rule that needs better explanations

Fair do’s, Rover, but he’s passing range seems very good to me…

As for Bowen, the chain of events would have remained the same as he didn’t actually touch either the players or the ball… but I reckon running past the goalie like that, with his boots whizzing past about 3 inches from the goalies face certainly would have given the goalie something to think about and therefore “affecting” play…
