24th February 2019 at 1:50 pm in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34094Well, didn’t think Klopp would opt for this, but understandably, he’s gone more for protection installing Gini, Hendo and Fabinho in the middle of the park with Milner at right-back.
Maybe Trent is just eased back into the first team but to be fair to him did feature on Tuesday night so perhaps a bit of a rest.

24th February 2019 at 9:48 am in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34088It’s rumoured neither Martial or Matic are likely to feature today which could be a boost for us.
I hope Klopp plays Fabinho, Milner and Gini in Midfield. Good to have Van Dijk and Trent back.

24th February 2019 at 9:14 am in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34087A draw would be enough to take us back to the Top Of The Table, but I hope we really give it our all and be a class act. A win today would be exceptional. Here’s hoping.

24th February 2019 at 9:00 am in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34086I beg to differ and money shouldn’t overrule decency.
There should be guidelines and a time limit. Klopp told them on their faces that they’re asking for the same thing but just worded differently.
There’s always some sort of a ‘he’s on trial’ or a negative spin even when the bloke may probably be feeling optimistic.
I personally have stopped watching pre-match build ups now, even if we are doing good. There’s just far too much BS and these leeches get paid for it.

23rd February 2019 at 10:30 pm in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34074The Dealership afterwards with ‘trained Press and Reporters’ what not are the problem.
Not a cliche` but as humble as I would like to be, I’m just tired of this.
Purely because for a Manager, it feels a Postmortem even on a win.

23rd February 2019 at 6:33 pm in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34066Ed, I never personally have ruled Spurs out of contention but my argument is that the media match onto whichever way the wind blows.
They also read too deep into results/league table standings and leads like ‘7 points clear.
Obviously now there are only a handful of games left but it only takes a Team to slip up a couple of times in succession for another to team to capitalise.

23rd February 2019 at 12:06 am in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34013Chucks, not sure how long you were in the UK mate, but from growing up, the Matches regimentally were pinned to 3pm Sat.
I had no Live stream, no Internet, no Sky, no nothing – just a Radio and a Family Set around 28inch at the time of Oracle and Ceefax.
Match Of The Day back then with a Couple of Woodpecker and Budweiser was ACE π π
4pm Sun and Monday Night was good craic, but understandably, Television Revenue for clubs talks, so they can’t and won’t have a moan.
It’s the fans that are impacted and will feel it deep down no matter what’s said.

22nd February 2019 at 11:02 pm in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34010Nine, it’s just a talk in optimism mate.
I get that nobody on here that doesn’t like Liverpool don’t want them to win anything mate.
That is how it is π Every man for themselves π No Ox, no nothing.
Let’s just go for years winning nothing, watch others, and then congratulate them.

22nd February 2019 at 10:49 pm in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34006Nine, in understanding mate, we ourselves have been in this position before, and we’ve basically been all but cursed.
Just effectively to an extent, a hurdle just to see through.
Cheers

22nd February 2019 at 10:13 pm in reply to: BIG Weekend Footy – Man United V Liverpool and Chelsea v Man City #34004Personally, no longer fan of Sunday games in fact just dislike Sunday. Worse comes to the worse, we lose, we’re shot down, then every other anti Liverpool has their field day, year 29.
“That’s how it is”
Tell you what though, win it, and just zone out from the rest of the Universe haha. Don’t allow anybody.
