Chucks, personally and the obvious player I’d want to hold down is Mo. VVD for experience and Alisson too. We just too to look at the areas where we can strengthen like Left-back, Right-back, a new Center half and a Striker.
Not to change it drastically over-night, but this is the thinking for a new era and transition POV.

Putting aside the issues of the so-called clubs expected to challenge or dominate, there are teams that really should be given the credit they deserve.
They have raised their standards and achieved progress in the league. What we have witnessed is these teams able to genuinely compete toe-to-toe against the Big-Boys. The points taken off one other reflects the league table as apart from Liverpool, Arsenal and Forest, there is a steady Gradient and the points gap between each place in the league isn’t significantly different (park aside, Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton). Many now as pointed out have been invested in. So we have Stadia, training grounds, coaching staff, player development/players bought.
Tactics and style of play is a little under-looked and teams approaching boldly without fear.
Man City undoubtedly have been one of a kind winning the League 4 in succession, but I think Rodri’s absence was the Catalyst in unmasking more than one flaw in Pep’s squad and first 11. He has a rebuilding job to do there’s no getting away from that.
Man United: In decline, no running away from that either and it’s going to take some time before they are even considered as a Top 4.
Chelsea: in gradual progression but it’s a matter for them to establish a best 11 and sticking more with the same then to change in frequency just because of the plethora of players they have at their disposal.
Arsenal: Saka has obviously been a miss. Arteta needs to come away from seemingly believe Odegaard, Trossard and Rice is enough of an attack to bring goals. Martineli and Saka is what’s needed more.
Liverpool without question have been lucky this season from an injury point of view. It looks like certain things have changed from Slot being at the helm against his predecessor Jurgen; largely, training/fitness/recovery as implement his tactics playing a 4-2-3-1.
Zobo, Gravenberch and Mac Allister have been instrumental for us this season and of course our hero Mo with his length of service and his goals-assists consistently throughout.
We have hurdles to overcome, but those are the factors and Slot and his Management Team to thank for what’s been achieved this season.

I’m starting to come round the thinking, it’s done. I can’t see the gunners win every game, and we only have 9 games left.
Better goal difference as well and we can afford to draw a few matches. Fulham and Spurs will be tricky but can see a Coronation as early as Easter Sunday or the first week of May when we meet Arsenal at Anfield.
Klopp will be making a welcome Return back to Merseyside 🥳💥💯💫👏🏻⚽️🎉🎊🎁

Observation picked up on from tonight’s match: nearly 31,000 in attendance from a capacity of 32,050 at Molineux. That is a thumbs up from an economic point of view in relation to tough cost of living.

Think Van Dijk picked up an injury too towards the end, so hope it’s nothing too serious.

Phew. Chucks it does look like it’s coming home, but I’m not boasting for one second and that’s the truth. We were 1-0 down; players hadn’t properly got out of first gear until Saints scored.
You can never take for granted anything; If Gunners drop points out of Man U and Chelsea, then that’s looking like the the trophy’s coming home.
Mathematically just need 18 points from our remaining 9 games.

This league hasn’t failed to disappoint I think we can all agree from a competitiveness point of view and shocks and surprises.
Some of these fixtures appear of paper as ‘plain sailing’ but you just never know.

Commendable to the players really applying themselves even 2-0 up and no complacency what-so-ever.

21 Points needed from 30. Arsenal have a game in hand and still have to go to Anfield. 13 Points clear

My brain gets a bit frazzled from the point of view of whether rules are breached for spending too much be wages and and transfer fees. Profit, sustainability and expenditure makes more sense.
United’s situation seems more down to earth as it would appear, they’ve found some sort of a ‘black hole’.
Real Madrid is just a head-scratcher altogether; seem to have this magic money tree lol! 😀

Er, I’d probably lose the will for my love of the game; this is where there’s overthinking and just give the man a break; I mean, he has made history that no other man on this planet, has!!!!!

Haha, absolutely Chucks, only we can stuff this up. 2014 still haunts; even 1989!!! We are the makers of this type of history and I can’t recall this sort of thing ever happening to United for example.
People say it’s written in the stars, but you just never know.
I think from the 97 points we can reach, we’ll drop points from at least 5 of those 11 matches. Whether that’s enough to get over the line, we’ll have to wait and see. Saka for Arsenal should return mid-march.

We got 4 away from home that are Chelsea, Fulham, Leicester and Brighton. We’re not winning all 4 defo. There will be points dropped. We have to be playing the way we did yesterday which was in my view the best I seen from Liverpool.
Solid Point made by Troy Deeney in the MOTD Studio; possession stats don’t reflect the meaningfulness of the game. E.g. Pep just tried to press us more with Doku getting the ball and essentially delivering the same party trick.
They’ve styled out differently slightly so they don’t use like they used to as much the extra man running down the channel either flanks. Robertson and Trent probably were lucky.

No No No No No!!!
This is where you will tempt fate. Don’t call it! It’s disrespectful to Arsenal.

We’ve actually left with only 4 away trips. Any real stuff ups and points dropped will be at home which will happen but I think we’ve come out of the blip period.
26 needed out of a possible 33.

Best performance of the season. International and so controlled. No bookings in the entire match. Double over the reigning 🏆 champions. Only we can stuff it up now.💯💥💫
