Been looking at the table in relation to Race for 3rd and 4th. Would be a real Hard done by if Forest were to be edged out of it, but they should be good enough to hold on and can’t see them dropping many points.

Personally would like Villa to achieve an honour this season and well done to them for reaching this far in as many competitions.

It’s realistically then for 4 between Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle. Not an easy one to call off the top of my head without unpacking all their remaining fixtures.

3ps, I think that rule needs to change where play is allowed to finish before the whistle is blown/flag raised. Pickford never the less was reckless and not the first time in his career, re Van Dijk.

We need to mix up our play. Trent’s passing I must say is missed and Salah doesn’t really see that much of the ball on the right. Most of the threat was coming from Diaz, but a little too predictable. Diaz was more effective when he placed himself in the middle.

We should have played Everton at their own game. Very ugly, but of course, we’ll take a win. Fulham will be difficult Sunday.

Good match yester afternoon. Palace deserved their triumph. Eze was immense and I hope Liverpool sign him in the summer.

Brighton-Forest I didn’t watch, but seemingly that was another mouth-watering tie.

Good start for TT. 2 wins from 2. Looks like a new regime with a different choice of players involved. Possibly a few faces may be phased out or continue to partake in next year’s tournament.

Sean, overlooked your post y’day and I do agree with your points about World Class. A few individual players out there have dipped in form. There’s not a lot of strikers compared to what was on the football circuit 25 years ago.

I think we’ve witnessed a number of cycles with different clubs to the point of the dynamic looking like what it was like in the 1980s as far as English Top Flight goes. The so-called top teams are average; they’re not great.

I’m enjoying it personally from a different lens of the spectrum; we have Forest in the quarters and in Champions League places. Villa doing well too in the CL which is good to see.
