Definitely Rotation galore for the Plymouth game later this afternoon.
Just discovered our meeting against Villa has been moved to the 19th. That means we play Everton, Wolves at Home, Villa, then Man City, and finally Newcastle all this month.
We need to utilize our depth and hopefully those guys deliver and knock on the door for starting 11 places.

He’s got the Europa as well but yeah Chucks. Ange needs to pull out the Stops today and ensure Tottenham are in the hat for the next round. No two ways about it.

Interesting dynamic to speak about from yesterday’s action on the subject of VAR. As we’ve grown to be used to it. I thought it was missed and possibly one or two may have got away with the goals that otherwise might have been ruled out.
Television replays not strong enough to get really close where it’s needed. E.g. One of the Newcastle goals crossing the line yesterday, and Mitoma’s winner that allegedly was guided by hand/arm.
Obviously Maguire’s goal was offside and clear as day and how the Linesman stood in a perfectly good position not getting that call right is beggar’s belief. I’m starting to wonder whether the guys on the field are dependant on VAR and take VAR for granted.

Haha, good observation Roy Keane; No Energy!
I have to say, respected and liked the Man United team from the early 90s; loads of energy and proper flanks like Giggs and Kanchelskis.

One of the guys from our group chat just posted it’s the fault of the players not the Manager’s. I mentioned, Amorim really in essence isn’t any different (maybe worse!!) to Solksjaer and Van Gaal!!

Tom and Jerry; think Van’s set up their guys to cover all United’s bases and more importantly take time on the ball and not hoof it up for the sake of it, first sign on any counter-attacking opportunity.

Unless Leicester crank it up and turn it on with a surprise, expect this one to be a slow-burner with late goals. “Disclaimer”>”I have officially jinxed this!” 😀
4-1 Manchester United.

All good guys. What I was hugely impressed with is our approach and style has been modified by Arne Slot. He’s allowed us to slow it down at the right time and play with more patience and composure. I think this had been lost with Klopp and we were high up the pitch and pressing maybe more than necessary.

Just seen only Trent on our injury list, so hopefully, he’ll be back soon. We can rest quite a lot of players for Sunday, but still pick a team good enough to beat Plymouth. Everton next Weds will be huge.

Just really good camaraderie between both teams; players, management, everybody.
Huge Commiserations Spurs; really hope for your season to change and get better.
Thankful for another League Cup Final. Nothing is easy, and Newcastle really will be solid next month.
Plymouth next up.

They’re going to Wembley in style – Bradley’s good work and Zobo’s finish 🙂

Well, all square overall at Half-time. From our point of view, it’s been encouraging to see us being able to open up Spurs and obviously need to take this pressure we’ve applied into the Second half.
Gravenberch and Zobo unsung heroes so far.
Back 4 too full credit especially Bradley as he has been first class.
Gotta keep up the concentration and focus. Nothing has been won at all so far, so a lot to get through and work to be done.

Yeah, was heartbroken 3ps in 87 when the gunners beat as 2-1 in that Wembley final.
City have been granite in recent times. They are on 8. We are thankfully on 10 thanks to Jurgen.
When I’m reading what our fans are writing elsewhere about ‘sacrificing’ this competition for the Everton game, I like “whaaat!”
Loved us winning it in 22 and 24. Every Cup Competition should be treated the same in my books. Yes you’re right, let’s GO FOR IT!!

I’ve not though that far ahead. Forget Neville!!!
It’s nervousness from our point of view and Ange will be determined as anything.
What will the first 20 minutes be like? If Spurs score first??
Nothing can be taken for granted.

That’s Arteta for you; short in handshake when he’s on the losing end.
Eddie Howe ‘s team deserve the Tie both legs. That first goal from Jacob Murphy absolute Textbook and you know what to expect from Newcastle from the way they set up to how they play. Their supporters absolutely right behind them.
Congrats in reaching the Final!!
