Not sure why they let Regulion go, he was the sort of player who thrives at Utd. Great attacking fullback. Did well in the few games he had, then got injured and didn’t really play since.

Not sure he has played much at Brentford either, so maybe something is up with him, but he seemed to have that working attitude.

Rashford is a joke, really poor from him. You never know what is going on behind the scenes but he went on the piss in Dublin rather than play in the FA cup and his attitude has stank all season.

I get that some aren’t good enough, I get some played freeze. But he seems to have got lost up his own ego. Same as Martial.

Sean – I think the issue we have is that we have very little strength in depth. Add to that an injury list and there is no one he can bring in. Look at the bench at Brentford. Needed a goal and no one on the bench who can score.

Once he brings in more players he will be able to drop players if they don’t perform.

At the moment he has dropped Anthony. Can he really drop Rashford for Amad?

Maybe now Mount is back he can start to rotate a bit but it’s desperate stuff.

You can see the high press and the speed at times. The players don’t play the same twice in a row. Is that ETH changing tactics or players not wanting to do it.

Nil, for me the players are a disgrace.

ETH has sorted lots of things, signings have been hit and miss, but the players haven’t tried and that is unforgivable.

Replace the players and bring in some who care and then judge him.

He had too much deadwood at the club to be judged this soon.

Definitely had worse for England, he started off by picking the best 11 players, and best squad. Now he picks some rubbish and will take a really unbalanced squad to tournaments to save him making a tough decision on selection.

Sean, just seen the Burnley red. Not a pen for me, but again the ref has given that but then needs to be consistent going forward. That’s an old fashioned tussle for the ball, seen those not given week in week out and this is where VAR needs to re ref the games.

The two pens at Newcastle were a joke, Gordon literally jumps in front of the defender both times looking to get kicked. Gordon had no intention of getting the ball.

Sean, I haven’t seen the pen yet, will take a look during the week.

The Newcastle pens were meant to be very soft too.

I find it incredibly frustrating when teams kick us at every opportunity and the ref allows it, and then penalises us for the slightest of contact. Just doesn’t make sense. They must walk off the park knowing they haven’t treated both teams equally.

We absolutely should be outplaying those teams, but that starts by trying. We have not tried all season. Rashford walked around all match today, I just cannot see how that is ETH’s fault. He cannot be asking him to do it.

I’m not sure anyone else would get this shambles to try to win. And not sure I want them too, just get rid of the players as they don’t deserve to be at the club.

No LB all season, no back up striker. Rashford downing tools. Injuries all over the place. No CB pairing.

Really strange performance. Knew we’d be up against it with McT starting, but thought we’d have more than that. Disgraceful performance, outplayed throughout.

Ref was shit and allowed far too many fouls by Brentford to go and then penalised us for less, but that is just expected these days.

Team looked disinterested from the start.

I accept refs get it wrong, and VAR too, but the excuses they come up with to justify the mistakes are ridiculous. If they just said it was a mistake people will move on. Next week a high foot will be a freekick and red card and then it will start all over. Webb says that VAR is not there to re-referee, but it should be.
