Mak, no “in a way” about it mate, 2 points dropped to an awful team, and no kepa either but yet 3 goals conceded! Lots of improvement required by lamps as much as the players. Performance as horrible as the kits in first half!

Very well done putting into context the turn of events. I’d have taken a draw when faced with that score-line at half-time. As a player, you never give up and throw the towel in.

Maybe it’s just teething problems and as fans, we’re easily led into forming a conclusion that draws a picture for the rest of the season.

It’s the same with Man United – I got that prediction right, ha! 😀

I would put out the thought for me on Lampard perhaps coming into the Chelsea job a little premature, place aside his affiliation and everything else achieved as a player. Personally, I think he should have come in as a Number 2.

As it’s presented, I think he could do with a good Number 2 appointed as side-by-side and somebody defensively astute.
