We’re looking pretty imperious alright but the defence needs to improve just a tad. No huge complaints I mean mistakes happen and Robertson rarely does it,. TBH I prefer to see him make one than one of the CB’s, whoa re under fire atm.

Ya, we’ve been brilliant for most of this match but still, it’s only 2-1 and they are a threat on the break. To be fair to Arsenal they arent easy to break down. I think we’re managing it cause we’re doing very well up top, very sharp in most ways. We just have to keep pushing to secure the points and this is another tough game for our defence, to use and get to the next level.
Don’t agree with the ref not giving a free against fabinho earlier and tbh, i thought it was a yellow.

Delighted but also relieved too in all honesty. How many meetings now against the Gunners in recent weeks/months? Another one due on Thursday.
They have improved and a lot more competitive. I was left feeling uneasy until Liverpool got the 3rd.
Happy for Jota to score on his debut. 3 out of 3 with 2 of them as tough fixtures, and we pulled through.

Liverpool were bloody brilliant tonight. Looking at that, you can only see another PL title but of course it’s not that easy, not even close. it is however a very good sign.
Really asnnoyed with Salah for robbing Jota of a greatc hance but was so pleased when he got a goal anyway. I loved his cameo, that cut back on the egde of the box was very clever. Most players blaze that across but he used his head.
Arsenal were good on the break and I dont think we were absolutely terrible in defence but we made some key mistakes and it could have cost us points. Robbo made up for it and Trent is back on form. I liked some of what Firmino did and Mane, was brilliant but he has to get used to the idea of being taken off now.
salah didnt do much tonight, well not on the ball anyway. He ran his defender ragged at times and thats always useful too.

Nil, I was very uneasy until we did also. Mostly because I feel we had maybe missed some huge chances. Overall we were so dominant that it’s almost that karma effect that you’re worried about. Those missed chances that come back to haunt you.
I couldn’t be happier and looking at how good we have been for the last 2 games, I think we’re fit and firing to win the next group of matches.

I’ve said it before but there’s definitely a touch of Mourinho in Arteta, especially in the big games. That’s not a criticism. While it didn’t work last night, being able to switch your style of play to suit the opposition is something Arsenal have done all too rarely over recent years.

Organised. He really has impressed me. I thought he would be a complete failure but he had this arsenal side working really hard. Lacazette and auba were never hard workers but they ran their balls off last nightThey need a few players. You can see he wants them to play out from the bsck but I’ve seen it enough now againest the big sides , that he is very defensive but maybe that’s because he doesn’t have the players yet to play his keep the ball fane etc?

Ah stevo the desire was there mate. I think Liverpool were so good that they were unplayable at times. That’s us at our very best at times. We created a lot of chances againest a very defensive set up. We hunted in packs and the press was relentless
Seems to be a huge hunger in this Liverpool team. Great start to the season
