Arrived late for the game according to Sky.

Suprised he’s on the bench I would have thought he would have been dropped from the match day squad today altogether plus a fine.

If your a spurs fan you would be livid at that approach to the game. Absolutely no intention of any adventure going forward. Sit bsck, wait for a mistake, go ahead etc. Seen it so many times and it rarely works these days. Horrible to watch

Dreadful from Jose yet again in a big game. Taking bale off after 56 mins.

Insipid performance from Spurs Son going off injured so early and then Lamella’s ridiculous sending off cooked Spurs Cockerel.

I think it’s centered around Punctuality re Aubameyang. Supposedly he has history. It’s not a biggie as such, but I think it’s just a case of the Manager setting an example and if Arteta’s not taking any action, then it doesn’t reflect discipline and Professionalism towards the rest of the Squad.

All in all, fish ‘n’ chip paper and should be water off a duck’s back.

Bale and Kane were well off the pace today although Kane woke up in the last 20 minutes decent performance from Arsenal though they’ve got every chance of them claiming a EL place.

If you are half a decent player you will never score an own goal in your entire playing career, I myself am proof of that.

Thought on the Balance of play overall, United deserved all 3 Points.

Fabianski kept West Ham in it. The Hammers themselves are and have been very impressive this under David Moyes this season, but for me, tonight they didn’t turn up and not a single shot on target.

Very Good 3 Points for the Red Devils to consolidate Top 4 Status.

I don’t understand Spurs tactics, their whole team basically consists of enterprising attacking players yet they adopt different metohods to their strengths, I never really believed a manager can be fully responsible for that, if you on the field you go out there and play to your best ability and most of the time it all comes together.

I did enjoy mate but wasn’t expecting to!
You were in such good form especially as an attacking threat and with the 2 lineups I feared the worst but that was awful from you

    We still huffed and puffed
Deserved the win happy with the result.
    Such a crazy old season

Hell Of a goal from that dirty little git!!

This is our two steps forward, next game one step back!

United next weekend…. I’d love it if we beat them 😁

I think players are following instructions blaze. How many times have we seen a jose team play like yday? It’s absolutely horrendous to watch. They only tried to attack when they went 2-1 down. Same as West Ham a few weeks ago

Moyes is going for the cl and he sets out for a draw from minute one and he got what he deserved. Horrible tactics again.

Show some balls. Have a go. 2 attscking players on the pitch.

He takes bale off after 56 mins brings a defensive player on

Very impressed with Arsenal yesterday. That Smith-Rowe is a player, isn’t he? Thought Odegaard did well also. But for me the highlight was Lamala’s goal. Now that is why we all love football! I could watch that over and over again!

Sean, you’re right about Jose. He’s got an array of attacking talent in that squad, arguably as good as anyone in the country, and yet he plays tactics like that. Man, you’d be pissed off if you were a Spurs fan, and then he has the nerve to blame Michael Oliver for the defeat. No, Jose, down to you, my old son! As it happens, it was never a penalty, and yet another example of how crap VAR is. Sort out controversial decisions? Yeah, right! I don’t have a problem with Oliver’s mistake in awarding it…mistakes happen, Suck it up! But stop the wasting of everyone’s time by getting VAR involved.

Lamelas goal was something else hightown mate. Unreal

Usually that would never been given as a pen. Inconsistent yet again which is the problem

Really like smith-Rowe another very promising number ten for England. He played on the left yday and was very good.

Spurs showed they could attack in the last 10 minutes. Dire tactics

Good post Hightown, my thoughts are similar on the match. I have never understood Jose, then again, although I do think he is a good manager, at times, I would even desert City if he ever found his way to the Etihad

Congrats on the win Steve. You confused me when you said you had United next weekend. I’m not used to hearing West Ham referred to as just United 😁

Good win for us against a good West Ham side who caused all sorts of problems for City at the Etihad. Should have really been more than 1-0. I’ll not settle as far as the top 4 is concerned until we can’t be caught.

    Oliver = controversy again?
I think he was correct with the penalty but not sure about the second yellow. Overall he had a good game.

Ed I’m not going to lie even tho I know I could get away with it! I’m sure I heard we were playing your United next weekend but it may be that I fell for the same mistake 🀣

The most frustrating thing for me is for a good part of the season we have played well but we keep gifting goals and dropping points

We should be top 4 contenders but I think it’s to late for us now

United doing just enough where everyone else bar city aren’t!!

Spurs losing had more to do with Kane and Bale not turning up bar the last 15/20 minutes in terms of Kane, the Son injury,Lamella getting sent off and Davison giving away a stupid penalty .
