Yeah I get that Alfie and Sean. My feelings are not whether or not it has an effect. Obviously it does. My feelings (and it’s just a personal opinion) are that a manager is responsible for managing a squad. If a team can’t play a certain way because of a few injuries, then that manager is wholly responsible. When I see people making excuses for managers because they’ve got injuries when they’re facing teams with a fraction of the budget of the big teams, it just bugs me.
Now, granted, a manager who is not long in the job and hasn’t built his own team can’t be held fully responsible for ensuring the players deputising for injured players are to his liking/style. But I feel it’s a manager’s job to make sure no player is that critical to a team’s style that the side fall apart without them. That happened with Liverpool and their injuries in the defence and it’s happening now with Ten Hag. It happened with Chelsea and their fullbacks who were/are always injured (James & Chilwell).

It’s frustrating over seasons if the same player is out on the sidelines. Eventually, something has to give. Love Tiago, but we’ve been experiencing this with him.
Ten Hag and Poch have yet to have in front of them a ‘clean slate’. Somebody much needed is injured. Some players brought in to substitute or supplement haven’t cut the mustard and they themselves need time. This is where experience is then needed along with maturity and individuals stepping up.
Did Milner have another season in him? We had to let go out Hendo and Fab because they were getting out run and found the new legs now in Zobo and Macca.
The Value of 3 points is huge; 8 zero lost 5 and suddenly we’re seeing Man United only 6 points behind the current leaders. It’s nip and tuck and nobody has pulled away which in itself makes the league more exciting. Looks as though this is the season United supporters will experience. I really think more bold moves need to be made by Ten Hag letting go of more individuals somewhere down the line. This man needs at least 2/3 years to really assemble and shape together the squad HE desires and feels will deliver for him.
Liking Villa a lot. Spurs easily exposed in defense. Ange has a massive job on his hands. Liverpool did brilliantly to only concede 1 goal and they have tightened. The next 6 games are going to be important to nail points in the bank.
February is where will see who’s got it to then take it to the next level.

Great player when fit but not mobile enough for Liverpool. Technically as sound as they come.
Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t spurs visit City next? A game every team is expected to lose, and if that comes true then that’ll be 4 defeats in a row. How honeymoon periods often come crashing down!

Yeah, Three P’s definitely feel for Ange; will probably be though in a different camp to others. The knives will be out and comments chucked around for ‘overhyping’ him. That’s the job he’s walked into and I’m sure he was never under any illusion.
Ethiad off the top of my head is raining goals. Certain quarter in Sky appeared to be full of syrup towards Man City. They have analyzed the foul on Alisson over and over again; just plain nonsense.

Just seen the fulham penalty. How can the officials with so much technology get something so wrong. If its a one off then maybe you can understand but every week there’s sla decision that you just cannot comprehend as a fan.
Feel for wolves they’ve been hard done by a few times this season.
