Nil, I can only speak for Chelsea but you really should avail yourself of the facts before you start firing off posts.

Chelsea have sold 3 Academy produced players in Tomori, Guehi, Livramento those 3 have bought circa £50m into the Club and seemingly Abraham is about to sign for Roma for £34m if you add all those values together those 4 Chelsea Academy produced players all but pay for Lukaku.

There is no difference to what Chelsea are doing in signing Lukaku than what Liverpool did when they signed Alison,Van Dijk and Fabinho!

Ya, it’s annoying that we cant afford to buy someone but that’s the way it is. Klopp will take what he’s got and make the best of it. He’s got a group of players who have almost all won the CL and PL together, so convincing them that they are good enough isn’t going to be the issue and I don’t think motivation will be either, after last season.

We won 3-0, didnt pick up any further injuries. Be happy man, life’s too short.

Mak, I’m not actually stressed about it;

There’s plenty of supporters I’d imagine may be feeling about the way I might be feeling. Never did I pinpoint an actual club.

I just feel in recent times, Liverpool have gone about the structure through the right channels. If others have followed suit that I’m not aware of then fair play.

I can’t say though what I am coming across that I like it in the slightest. It doesn’t help though the feeling of ‘de ja vu’ in having to answer or justify myself.

I thought we moved on from this.

Nil, from Nine’s perspective, he see’s his club doing it the right way and can prove it. What you spoke of sounded a bit like an accusation against Chelsea. Maybe you’re thinking of City and I don’t particularly like how they are going about this Kane situation myself.

City basically maneuvered themselves into not playing against their opponents best player and if they closed the transfer window before football kicked off, this kind of highly unsporting act wouldn’t be able to take place.

As for Chelsea though, it seems to add up. Just think how you’d feel if someone seemed to accuse LFC of similar and they were not entirely correct 😛 .. You would educate them also.

Best to not dwell on it. We have Chelsea next, ourselves! 😀

Liverpool have a much tougher fixture up next than Chelsea it’s Burnley at home for you and Arsenal away for Chelsea next before our clash at Anfield. 😊

Ah, right you are Nine. I’m really glad to see that actually, as we’ve a few who needs time to get back to full fitness. Doing the job against Norwich is one thing but Chelsea would be another altogether. That midfield we had yesterday certainly wouldn’t get 3 points there anyway.

Moos and blaze, the homophobic chants are wrong because gilmour is not gay? No, they are wrong because at the root is the belief that homosexuality is to be ridiculed. All those young boys and girls in the crowd, we have to stamp out this bigotry lads.

As I said yesterday:

“I have no idea whether Gilmour is gay or not but it’s entirely up to him if he is and if he is he shouldn’t be the subject of homophobic chants anyway but that chant has been aimed at Chelsea fans and Chelsea players for years.

Kick It Out, the anti-discrimination campaign group, have previously condemned the chant, writing in 2019: “The ‘rent boy’ chants have been directed at Chelsea for years, with little action taken by The FA or Police – and that must not continue. We are absolutely clear: the chant is homophobic and must be treated as such.”

This chant directed at Chelsea as Kick it Out say above and has been going on for years it’s unacceptable and needs to be stopped and action needs to be taken against those involved in chanting it.

Bar a few things that took place, a Good Weekend overall of Football. Really enjoyed some of the action and results. Wonderful to see fans back inside the grounds. An experience of travel I myself would like to get into once all this settles properly.

Life isn’t the same without all of this and by no means be taken for granted.

Nil, I think some fans are genuinely simple minded bigots mate as some people in general are, but some are just genuinely simple and are solely intended on upsetting opposition players, the more hateful a comment appears to be to them, the more it is likely to upset and the more likely it is to be used by these simpletons for that purpose alone.
