You see Robertson’s recovery and tackle in the box there? Exceptional.
I hope it’ll be 4 or 5, we kinda need it TBH.

OMFG Fabinho again there … he’s on his way to MOTM . he’s a 9/10 so far.9th February 2019 at 3:57 pm #33249
it will be interesting to see how Liverpool handle the latter stages of the game. Our defence and protection of the defence, has not been good lately. We’re on the front foot here but is it going to be a case of us scoring more and keeping a clean sheet, or will we suffer the loss of confidence and building anxiety that we’ve been guilty of ?
I’d prefer a cleansheet over a huge scoreline, just about anyway. 4 or 5 nil would be just amazing. You can see that Salah is sharper looking today. he was unlucky not to score at around 44 mins. That was a really nice effort.
I asked for a hungry/angry mind-state (as Klopp loves to talk about) and so far we’re seeing it but it’s gotta be sustained.9th February 2019 at 4:51 pm #33250

Good reaction and a good win for Liverpool as you would expect. They needed that.
Now if Chelsea can help them out tomorrow? 😊9th February 2019 at 4:56 pm #33251
Much better performance. Good to get a clean sheet. Taa few minutes under his belt aswell
Shoukd have won by much more. Could have been more clinical but much better performance9th February 2019 at 4:56 pm #33252
I just wrote on the other site that it is just what we needed. The 2nd half was more tame that I’d have liked but you cant turn your nose up at 3-0.
Fabinho MoTM, even if he wasnt quite as influential int he 2nd half. He still had some really nice moments in there. Salah grew into the game and he deserves some credit too. Mane was great, as always.
i’ve no complaints about any player TBH. I think Matip even did well to sort himself out. He made a mistake or 2 but was on point otherwise.9th February 2019 at 5:54 pm #33253
Absolutely delighted to restore our position at the top.
This is probably the first decent and convincing performance we have delivered since December so it’s perfectly understandable that doubts have crept in.
Over to Man City and even a Chelsea draw will help us greatly.
Happy Days and enjoying the victory.

By the way, not that it would have made much difference, I thought Mane was offside again for his goal. Close but offside I thought. Twice in a week!

Nil, ha,ha, I hope we can give it to you mate.
I would take a draw right now but hand on heart I fear the worst.
I’m wanting a performance v City at least but it will be very difficult tomorrow last week rejuvenated them and they’ve got the bit between their teeth now and firing on all cylinders City are a very tough nut to crack especially at the Etihad.
Liverpool are still in the driving seat though and a Chelsea result of any kind would swing it back in Liverpool’s favour imo. Fingers crossed eh!😊 Cheers 9999th February 2019 at 8:39 pm #33258
Nine, fully appreciate mate 🙂
Cheesy but “you can do it if you really want” 😀
Haha, Strong Line Up mate Tommoz with Higuaín and Eden Hazard.
Just keep a close eye on Sane and those little pockets of David Silva space and Aguero 2 yards hahaha 🙂9th February 2019 at 8:39 pm #33259
