As I said on the other thread, Poch seems to have a tendency to have his team be absolutely brilliant up to a certain point and then when it really matters and the pressure starts to build, they collapse. For all the good work he’s done at Spurs, he’s still got so much to prove in terms of being a genuine contender to win anything IMO. In those 5 years he’ll have been at the club have Spurs looked like winning anything? I genuinely hope we stay well away from Poch. Ole is not the man for the long term for me either, though I’d love to be proved wrong. Allegri should be Utd’s only target

Allegri is a good call for United Ed imo too providing United can extricate him out of Juve which won’t be easy and he’s a proven winner.

I think he’ll be ready for a new challenge now Nine. He’s won almost all there is to win there and if I’m not mistaken, has spoken positively about one day managing in the PL. Whilst La Liga remains probably the pinnacle for a lot of players, the top managers all seem to come to the PL nowadays.

I’ve already said I don’t see why someone like Poch, for example, would leave the comfort of his pressure-free role with the great team he has there to come and manage this bunch of egos and be expected to win every game

Give over ?. I’ve never seen Utd fans rip into their own team more than they have this season. We’re a shadow of our former selves. If teams were measured on commercial success and sponsorship deals, we’d be the bestest ever ?. But it’s not quite how things work. We’ve a hell of a long way to go to get back challenging again and the majority of Utd fans accept that. Have a read of any Utd forum and tell me Utd fans don’t know how terrible we are at the moment!
