Threeps..it was chance after chance like the reports said but liverpool have woken up, at least partially.
Our defence has been atrocious tonight. Gomez is very rusty but the rest are poor also. Roberton excluded.

Just relieved to get win but was confident at 3-3. Few years ago I wouldbt tvibk we would go on and win that.Write it off as one if those nights. Highly rate Gomez but he was shocking. We looked to open but we got the winner.

This midfield just isnt going to do. Ots not good enough and I think another dip into the market is required. I know this will upset some (too bad) but henderson is not good enough. He’s our poorest player so far this season by a long shot.
He was excellent and had a huge impact in our CL win and 2nd place finish but that initiative seems to have bubbled away. Im also questioning one of my favourite players, wijnaldum. Maybe im smoking crack but he also seems to have dropped in quality, nowhere near as muxh but still, hes got to be better. Wijnaldum did well tonihht now, so im not talking about tonight but in general.
As for keita… honestly, Ive seen so many poor performances from him but given all circumstances, I’ll give him more time… or at least try, before i judge him but im not optimistic about him. I dont think he has any game intelligence.
Im not sure about FSGs desire to spend but i think theyve got to consider it. Fabinho was a smashing signing but he’s a lone star in midfield for us now.

I think Gomez to be fair to him still needs time. The opposition like Napoli are intense and athletic or failing that, basically raised their levels and dialled up after a so-called consolation.
Can’t take our eye off any ball in this game it goes to show.

Mak, that’s what I’m alluding too when I mention the point of buying 2 New Players.
One Holding and a Energetic Midfielder. And the Other, a Striker and/or another Centre-Half.
It’s about squad depth. Liverpool are in competitions regular, so there’s participation available for plenty.
Not sure why I’m told “where will he play” or “what about the front 3”.
It’s not down to putting the first team regular’s noses out of joint, it’s about endurance and metal over the course of 90 minutes, and the opposition we’ve faced so far are at times on some serious adrenalin rush.
