Chuky…I cannot speak for Ed but my love of the game stems from football in the 40’s and early 50’s. Fan behaviour was very good, just a few occasions when it appeared unruly but then fans stood side by side, no stewards, maybe a policeman somewhere but rarely seen, in general it was a great atmosphere, Brass band as well and SAFE, although crushed like sardines at times. I remember being at two games Utd v Arsenal and City v Rangers at Maine Road at the back of the stand and wondered how I would ever get out, both said to be 84K attendances. Those days are long past but just nice to remeber how good it used to be, I am in my 74 th season with City now and fear it will be my last due to health reasons and I cannot attend night matches, which are getting more each season. I will then consider some form of Pay TV but I am reluctant to pay for poor commentary and the know it all pundits so I will probably settle for radio commentry and MotD and occasional visit to City

Bricky, think positive at all times, I have just spent the last three years in/out of hospital, numerous operations and well looked after by the Doctors and nurses, just one exception at one hospital, but I count myself lucky. Hopefully I am through the worst, keep strong and keep telling yourself you will come through it and be proud of it

Brian, I think your generation has probably had the best of football. It struck me as a real community game back then, fans were connected to the local players and you had a good mix of different sides winning the league. And the atmosphere must have been something to behold. And little trouble too. And it was affordable. We may now boast all these global superstars but along with that comes egos, sulking and big money. Thanks, but no thanks. And are matches really more entertaining than they were?? Not sure about that. Wishing you a healthy and happy new year.

Yes 9 it does. Its very much legal, trust me I know my stuff with this. It even has the top boxing matches that you lot need to pay a premium for. And all the NBA, NFL UFC and any other 3 letter acronym you can think of.
Its only available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria i think. As I said, sky.de has bought the rights for next season which is a shame. Maybe if you got a vpn you could get it. I pay on a monthly rolling contract with PayPal. I have it on my Amazon box, mobile app and works in browser too.

THEY PAY THE PL THE RIGHTS!!! ITS 100% LEGAL
Same as sky, BT or Amazon from whenever they do, but this is just for the mentioned countries. Google it if you still think youre right (No idea why you know nothing about them!)
They also have the rights to most European leagues, only the bundesliga is delayed as sky have that live.
The UK gets screwed for sport, has done for a while. But elsewhere arond the world there are legal broadcasters that show for good value. Even if I was interested in watching bundesliga over here I’d need a sky account and then add 10eur undesliga package for every single match. And I mean every single one, no matter what kick off time, on about 10 channels.

threeps, everything I’ve read confirms that Dazn do not have the rights to show PL games although I understand that from the 2019/20 season they have agreed a deal with the PL to screen games in Canada.
The only broadcasters who have the rights to legally screen PL games in the UK are Sky, BT and Amazon who have a small 20 game a season package from the 2019/20 season.
