Odd there’s no Hazard given his season and particularly as he’s nominated for PFA Player of the Year.

Seen the BBC’s version of this, purely consisting of Man City and Liverpool players.
I do like La Porte, but always had a preference for Danilo. I wonder what things might have been if he was Pep’s regular starter.
Bernardo Silva has been totally immense and one of the current best players on the circuit.
As a fan of dribbling, enjoy both Mane and Hazard. These type of players in the modern game are hard come by.
I do like Trent naturally from an LFC point of view but as far as this season goes, I’ve really been impressed with Kyle Walker and he just shades it for me.

You would think that players are categorised to their actual position, so Hazard would be up against Mane, Aguero and Sterling. Should he make the team above them? Debatable, same would be for Son.
Pogba is a strange one as I can think of about a dozen better than him. Maybe the votes were cast in the middle of the short lived Utd revival when Pogba did actually play well. Why these votes can’t be done at the end of season I’ll never know.

I would have had Wan-Bissaka of Palace in for Trent, and any of Wijnaldum, Milojevic, Ward-Prowse, Brooks, Fabinho, Sissoko, Moutinho, McNeil, in fact anybody, ahead of Pogba.
I also think there is an argument for Allison ahead of Ederson. More clean sheets, fewer goals conceded. On stats alone he’d be ahead of Ederson, even though some of you may remember a couple of weeks ago I put him forward as one of the most overrated players around, but on stats alone…?_____________________________

It’s unlucky on Son and Hazard, but as threeps says they’re up against Aguero, Mane and Sterling and no-one can really quibble with their inclusion.

Flawed selection without Hazard! Doesn’t make any sense especially as he’s on the short list for player of the year.
Shame really as this is probably Hazards last season in the PL.
I’m sure though that Hazard will be in the La Liga team of the year next season though as he hits new heights at Real.?

The goalie one is interesting…
On one hand, you have Alice who I think has a better defense in front of him, sharing the load and possibly making him look better than he is… on the other hand you have Eddy who plays for a team who really have the attack is the best form of defense policy and perhaps doesn’t get as troubled because of that as very few teams have a real crack at him…
I’m going to suggest Alice is actually a better goalie-goalie, Eddy is a better footballer goalie, and I’m a bit old school, like my goalie’s to be a goalie first and foremost…. so Alice for me! Seen Eddy let in more of the “could the goalie have done better there?” goals than Alice…
