Liverpool at home to West Ham on the first day.

The Liverpool bid for Fekir is not dead. The rumour is that Lyon just want the deal in the new season accounts ie after July 1st and the medical issue is a red herring.

We’ll see!

Be great if you were right about Fekir but I heard that rumour about accounts and it was also delayed for the following reasons:

King Kenny being honoured
The European stock exchange
Lyons accounts
Liverpool pulled out
Lyon pulled out

Agent Edward said something similar but then deleted it. So I’m not sure – I think they are hawking him round, will prob end up at Chelsea or City

Surely if it was about getting the deal into Lyon’s next season accounts the deal could have been done effective July 1st?

Like Hightown though I’m not sure the deal is completely dead with Liverpool.

With regards to fixtures, it seems Spuds will play at least their first three games away from home (the same courtesy as recently shown to Salahpool and Wet Spam), with a couple of home games at Wembly in September… it seems there is a rule about all home games must be played at the same place.. but Spuds are trying to get that “relaxed”… or at least extend the away run…

It seems the stadium will be finished, but the problem is with getting the appropriate safety certs, they need to hold several “test” events first by all accounts, that’s what the “issue” is.

Yes, first test event planned as 4th August but it’s not gonna happen so a few dates are being moved back.
Good that Liverpool are first at the new ground – at least there will be a big club and good football there for the first game! ?

Nothing of real note for us Spuds, no “biggies” over the Christmas period, which is what I always look for first (can’t have Christmas ruined, can you?)… back to back London Derby’s at the end of November… everything else relatively spread out…
