I tend to agree with CM here. They said they are going to America for privacy…what a joke. Netflix, interviews, books court cases etc etc.
I think he is a weak character made ten times worse by his wife. I just don’t like her. Am I allowed to say that or will I be attacked as racist and misogynistic.
With one or two exceptions look at those who are speaking out for them. I won’t elaborate as I would not wish to offend anybody.

PS my son is married to a lovely girl from the Philippines and they have had a little girl, who is beautiful, six months ago.
I said to my other half I wonder what she will be like before she wad born. Is that racist thinking about my granddaughter? No. But the mock shock on that Oprah Winfrey…preplanned was nauseating.

Adlab i assume you’re talking about someone in royal family (William isn’t it?) expressing concern if H+M baby would be black or not? Bit different to having private thoughts about a forthcoming granddaughter’s appearance. Unless your thoughts were negatively regarding the skin colour like I believe Harry is insinuating then yes it is racist.

Adlab it’s about context, what was insinuated and why. It could be completely innocent or it could be very inappropriate. We will never know what exactly was said and how but for whatever reason H+M have implied it was racist. Up to the public to believe them or not.

I watched the ITV replay of Harry’s Interview yesterday and I just don’t personally see why people all of a sudden people feel alarmed. A lot of the details mentioned comes across really un-grownup. It’s interesting. We’re experiencing a society where there’s cry for liberalism and tolerance, the man was ‘instructed’ by his own brother to take off his beard. That should spell it all about an active presence of an institution.
The press are the ones writing day to day nonsense about him. Absolutely no need for me to write any hint of any expletive. Certainly over time, Harry has the right at the very least to reply, and essentially set the record straight.

I think as someone said, the Royals are privileged but are imprisoned by gold bars. That’s the deal. They are obviously very fortunate to be born into what they have, but then they are also very limited as to what they can do. One can sympathise with that, and we all have our problems. I think it’s regrettable how he has dealt with things because I think such things should be done in private with the family.
As Nine said on the previous page though, a lot of this is rooted in the tragedy of the divorce of his parents and later death of his mother. So Harry has missed that crutch and support in his life. And whilst Prince William has also obviously been through the same thing, because he is much higher up in the succession, maybe he’s had more people around and he’s had more duties to carry out that have kept him busier which have perhaps helped him get on with his life. And Harry maybe hasn’t and sees himself as the spare as he says. As I say I don’t agree with the way he’s gone about all this now, but it seems to me he has lacked support in his life and the repercussions of that are now playing out.
