Reckon 2-1 is fair reflection of the half, if anything flatters the Saints. Overall, Spuds had a lot more and a lot better chances… both sides a little rusty and not flowing as well as the managers would like. Surprised with our wingback pairings, reckong that will be changing soon…

A measured performance by Spuds, a defence that wasn’t really tested at all, a midfield that never really lost control, an attack that has had much better days… (that’s the quietest I think I’ve Son & Kane in a match for years…)
