How can a side lead 2 games on trot with minutes to go and then end up dropping 5 points.
This side seriously lacks leadership and how many shots on goals the last 5 games?
This is embarrassing, why hasn’t this been fixed. It is the same cut back goals we constantly concede too.

Only watched the 2nd half after our game finished and seen the highlights this morning but what a crazy game. Spent most of it thinking how poor Chelseas midfield are and that Poch looks like a dead man walking and then that happens!
2 soft pens would be livid if they went against my team. Agree with Sean, Cootes was never going to overturn the on field decision the guy is a useful as a chocolate fireguard.
However the last goal was alarming from a utd point of view, they had their backs turned when the corner was taken. That stat CM posted above really does underline Utds problem. Are they just too easy to open up, indicating a defensive midfield problem? Let’s hope these problems continue on Sunday!

It’s a damming stat but not one that surprised me. We’ve been regularly seeing average sides get 30 or so shots in against us for a while. It’s just completely unsustainable and Ten Hag’s failure to fix that will likely lead to his downfall. Sunday could either be chaos again which could go either way or if Liverpool are more disciplined and don’t let the match become chaotic, they should have too much for us. I’d imagine Ineos are already scouring Europe for a successor to Ten Hag.

Sean mate, what happened to us in the cup happened to them in the league, so psychologically, it could deflate them and they only have a few days to lift themselves ready for Old Trafford.
We on the other hand found resilience once again. It’s not cockiness or anything like that. It’s more a matter of bringing it out into the open as to what it is on observation.
With that in mind, nobody is getting carried away and of course, we’ll be professional on Sunday as we would be.

Caciedo has been dreadful for 115m. He really has. Up there as the worst signing of the season for a high price
I laughed when chelsea bought palmer for 45m but he really has been excellent. Lovely balance and left foot.

Sean, I see some resemblance to 2018-19. Remember when we were down at Newcastle. I think Van Dijk and Origi rescued us. Gosh I miss Divock. We miss a Sup Sub Striker.
Jurgen’s been no-nonsense and decisive and not afraid to take players off if they don’t deliver and replacing them with fresh legs.
Good point mate. Some of those games this season really we shouldn’t have won like Wolves Away and Newcastle Away. Even Forest, we found a last-minute Winner. Maybe there is something in that.
Big April for us with lots of away matches and the Europa too. I’m excited about Jota, Trent, Alisson and Bajcetic coming back.

What’s surprised me with Liverpool this season is that they actually have quite a poor record against the traditional big sides. Is it a myth that you need to be able to beat the big sides to challenge? Liverpool have won 1 of 8 games against the big (traditional “big 6”) sides and that was against an awful Chelsea side.

Always thought it was a bit of a myth (needing to beat “top 6” sides)…. I tend to simply look at the loses column to see what chance of the title a team has… it’s very, very rare a team with 4 or more loses wins the title (I think it’s happened once in the last 13 years or something)… draws against the “top 6” are okay, certainly won’t put out the race, but loses will… (and that’s assuming you sweep the “bottom 14” away before you)
