Sky and BT Sport is the only legal way to watch football it’s nothing like being at live games which I’ve done all my life and still do but both provide great football coverage at a price. Plus great coverage of the other major sports too.

Setanta and Espn were fab in it’s hey day – miss them. Used to like Sky too in the 90s, but greed and monopoly got the better of them and in my view, they’re a rip off.
If they packaged it properly in the first place with price, then they’d be less dodgy boxes and less people fishing around for live streams.

Mav, to be fair mate you may not like him but from everything I’ve read about him Merson is a recovered alcoholic, drug user and gambler although I guess no one is ever fully recovered from those three terrible things.

I don’t think a person’s personal past should be used against him especially for those examples in drug, alcohol and gambling.
My whole point was on the back of Merson cited on here in simply adding why anybody is surprised. And for Liverpool pundits to be highlight in too many of them,
there’s pundits out there with history and affiliation to various different clubs.That’s the way the cookie crumbles. Neville’s been raved about for a fair bit of time and that novelty has worn off for me – it’s boring.
I don’t get too sucked into because I like to watch and get the thoughts of other people in hope to gain different perspectives of the sport and not be ‘boxed’ all my life by one broadcasting network. I’m also not a fan of a Liverpool Man United former examples and believe it or not, I no longer look forward to those showdowns for various reasons.
There’s better choice out there which is encouraging – only wish other than online in England, there would be more accessibility and not just a Monopoly between 1 and 2 Networks.

They need to put Neville & Carragher permanently together again on MNF. They push each other and they’re the better for it. Not a fan of this change every week – just because the new guest each week may be interesting, certainly doesn’t mean their analysis and punditry is.
