Spuds one up at halftime, a game where seemingly both teams are trying their best to make the other team look good. Part of me says both defences are so bad there’s going to be more goals in this, but nobodies “flyboys” are taking advantage…

Arsenal v Spurs is a difficult game for both teams imo. I suspect it will ensure first elevens from both Managers but if Pochettino doesn’t take it seriously and fields a weak team that might be a problem for Spurs.

I do fancy Spurs for one of thd domestic Cups this season but it looks like a tasty Semi Final line up bar Boro/Burton.

That is if Spurs go past their traditional bogey team. You can bet with me on that. If Arsenal play full string, then Spurs are gone. Pray that Emery plays second string. But with Spurs we are very safe. Wembley is our second home these days?. We have only lost 3 out of last 10-15 appearances there.

Play like we did last night v Bournemouth and we won’t be in the Semi Finals Spurs have Barca away and Burnley at home in the 6 days that precede the game with Arsenal will they need a win in Barca to stay in the CL? Or will they already be out and can play a squad side? And will Pochettino take the League Cup seriously?

Am 200% certain that we will improve from that performance in the next round. It was one off in my opinion. And the emotion played its part. But thankfully we have progressed. Other than that you are right we can’t count our chickens before they hatch.

last 5 years spurs have played arsenal 10 times in the league.

Arsenal wins – 3
Draws – 4
Spurs wins – 3

Arsenal are no longer our bogey team. they spent many years being completely dominant to us, as did chelsea but those days are gone. city and liverpool are the team we bottle it against now.
