Pick a player, pin your colours to the mast, stick with the player over the course of the season.
Rules, subject to group approval: Not allowed to pick a striker from Arsenal, City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool or Tottenham.
Im wanting to throw Leicester and Bournemouth in their too to stop people chatting shit and getting banged with the two obvious strikers.
Should it be deicded by a total number of goals for the season, or, given some names will not play 90 every game, goals per min played?
I get first pick to give you an idea:
Im going with Michael Obafemi from Southampton.
the winner achieves unending football glory and ticker tape. Something to keep us interested over the course of the new season.1st August 2019 at 6:35 pm #44229
Jay Rodriguez Burnley is my choice.1st August 2019 at 8:10 pm #44232
Richarlison of Everton.2nd August 2019 at 7:01 am #44242
Everton look like a potential top 6 side this season under 442’s rules shouldn’t Mav be disqualified.?2nd August 2019 at 8:06 am #44246Hightown hopeParticipant209 pts
Jimenez, obviously ??2nd August 2019 at 8:10 am #44247threepsParticipant163 pts
I’d of gone with Jimenez but as he’s taken I’d go with the new lad from west ham, you know the 40m striker that no one can remember his name? Whatshisface, signed from Frankfurt I think.

You lads aren’t playing fair you need to be going for players not in the top 6 and not likely to challenge for the top 6. Everton, Wolves and Leicester selections are too easy but on that basis I’ll change Rodriguez for Vardy.?2nd August 2019 at 8:42 am #44252
Im happy with Richalrison, the new west ham striker too… We have a week to get the rules solidified…. but anyone outside the top six, so Everton, Wolves, and anything down is thumbs up.2nd August 2019 at 8:47 am #44253
TBC…. No Leicester or Bournemouth.. I will allow everton wolves… No Leicester 999… too easy with Vardy, think he’s going to tear the league a new one this season and i reckon they could be the team to challenge for top four. Jay Rodruiguz will get injured… I will allow you a new choice.
No one think Norwich will get goals? Newcastle have signed a bean pole who will probably get on some ritchie crosses.
So to clarify… No Arsenal, Chelsea, spuds, united, city, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Leicester..
ALSO, total goals or goals per minute to decide the winner?2nd August 2019 at 10:27 am #44256
Fair do’s 442 i’ll change my choice to Patrick Cutrone.2nd August 2019 at 11:42 am #44257
442: Obafemi (could be defensively a lot stronger. Can they score, hope this lad stays fit, exciting talent)
Mav73: Richarlison (enough said, starts brightly and fades over winter or when pitches get sticky)
hightown: Jiminez ( think he might and wolves might have a difficult second season)
threeps: Sebastien Haller. (trying to find room in my fantasy team for him, reckon he’ll get goals)
999: Patrick Cutrone… you can stick with Rodrequez if you like…
One week left, wooden spoon for this competition is a lump of celery.2nd August 2019 at 12:04 pm #44258
No Bournemouth?2nd August 2019 at 12:05 pm #44259

Not enough rules, I think we should also include the following:
1) All goals scored with Red Socks only count half
2) All goals scored with NIKE boots only count one third
3) All goals scored by Virgo’s count double
4) All goals scored against Spuds don’t count.
5) All goals scored against Liverpool get a jumbo bag of Pickled Onion Flavor Monster Munch2nd August 2019 at 12:52 pm #44261Tugay is GodParticipant12 pts
I’ll go Chris Wood from Burnley.2nd August 2019 at 4:05 pm #44267
Mav… Wilson will score a hat full. subject to injuries hence why im not including him his team and also Vardy. Too easy… 🙂
chucky… very simple. Choose a player, stick with it through the season. Im sorry, im not willing to complicate this any more than it already is sir. 😉
