Wonderful performance by Chelsea’s youngsters winning the FA Youth Cup Final for a record breaking 5th consecutive time equalling Manchester United’s record 5th consecutive winning run set in the 1950’s with a 7-1 aggregate win v Arsenal.

Some wonderful football played and there are one of two in this team like Hudson Odoi who scored two goals tonight and already at just 17 getting first team exposure have a real chance of coming through at Chelsea.

Really impressive Nine. Would be great to see some of these lads come through. Even if they don’t, it’s still a great source of income for the club as it’s proved for Utd through the years. Looking forward to the PL North vs South decider on 5th May between our clubs. I think Utd will struggle to win that one if I’m honest.

Ed, the challenge now is to get some of these lads into the first team.

3 of the side last night have made first team appearances this season as has Ampadu who is currently injured and Hudson Odoi looks a really exciting prospect.

Christensen a former Youth team player has begun to establish himself this season and going forwards this has to be the way for Chelsea as they can no longer compete with the Manchester clubs in the transfer market. But as we all know it’s not an easy trick to pull off.

I don’t know whether you saw the game but the lads played some lovely football almost Barcelona esque at times they were dominant over both legs in fact the one goal conceded is the only goal conceded in the whole FA Youth Cup run. Ths North v South game should be a good one on the 5/5. Cheers 999
