What an absolute joke. I;m sorry but this is nothing but a farce. A team like England should never be playing against someone so poor. They need to draw a line and have thew minnows play more fixtures in order for a few of them to earn the right play against the proper teams. This was ana ssured 3 points before the game kicked off and with fixture congestion as bad as it is in th emodern game, it could definitely not have been played and not an ounce of difference would have been made. At the same time, Ireland played new Zealand and nobody cared. I saw both games were on in the pub I was in and didn’t give a smeg about either.

We could have gotten a PL match out of the way, looking specifically at Liverpool and December but other teams to a lesser extent too. Give them the rest! That would be far more beneficial to them also.

Mak, while I can see your point, there are other things to think about, so called lesser opposition gives the opportunity for player debuts, the smaller nations get to play the so called powerhouses, their players get to tell their kids and grandkids I played England at Wembley, but more importantly, you sometimes get the giant killing, which is brilliant….Pagan

Difficult to gauge too much from this game but you can only beat what’s in front of you I suspect Kosovo away will be a much tougher game on Sunday.

Pleased to see Tammy get his first England goal which will help his confidence.

Just listed all current and most likely England Internationals from Chelsea and it is stunning. There are probably others I have missed coming through the ranks at Chelsea but these current Chelsea first team squad players (bar Ruben) could be selected to start.

Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori, Reece James, Mason Mount, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Over the next few years we could see seven, yes seven Chelsea players all in the one England squad and it would be interesting to work out how many could start in the one England match.

Not sure when there would have been such a domination from the one club in the past.

nice win for us, nice diaply, no nerves and lots of goals and a few missed oppertunitys….not much else to say given the oppo, but then again how many times did the “golden generation” play minnows and not look like world beaters against them?

the best thing about this season is the sudden influx of youth throught the PL and other compls and not just a few mins as a sub either…we have agreat batch of youngsters coming through, tho strangley light in the CB area where england where always strongest

CB’s is a bit of a worry, especially as the team seem to be going down the road of attacking full-backs rather than defensive full-backs… can’t really think of any current CB’s who would get close to getting in the 1st 11 of other England teams over the last 30 years or so with the likes of Adams, Campbell, Rio and the others that we’ve had.
